"Daddy?"

He continued to look at her bored and waiting for that stupid dream to end

"I am not going to ask you to love me, nor to recognize me as a princess, or to occupy the throne but please if- if you ever saw me as your daughter please"

Tears started to come out of her eyes as she clutched her hands close to her chest and leaned forward in desperation

"Be my Father for the first and only time in my life"

"I- I don't need you to love me but at least pretend to do it, it's not because of a whim but because for the first time I would like to know what it's like to feel my parents' love"

He looked at her with a look of hatred causing her to back away in fright

She was about to apologize but realized it in time and stopped quickly, she remained firm and determined

And he continued to look at her as if she were an insect in his path

"No" He said firmly and in a voice colder than ice

The little piece of soul was already waiting for that answer but still a pain invaded her heart

And after the pain came anger, hatred and other feelings that she never felt
