Here are 5 challenges for the experienced and brave. Feel free to mix and mash these, and if you attempt one, please leave a comment. I would love to read your results...

1) Drastically different style. Rules; write a short story/novella in a completely foreign style to you. i.e. If you are a first-person romance writer, co-write a fast-paced, second-person action story.

2) Write with a stranger. Rules; skip the getting to know you part, and no reading your partner’s previous writing. Dive right in to the plotting and writing.

3) Unplanned. Rules; you cannot discuss the ending with your partner until it happens.

4) Alternating words. Rules; complete an entire story using the technique of writing every second word.

5) No communication. Rules; The only thing you may send to your partner is writing. You must figure out your style, characters, and plot with no planning or talking.

The best of luck!
