i grieve for stray souls and
to love again seems beyond
the bounds of possibility
i taught myself poetry
as we die but it won't and
i yearn to remember vividly
i paint your face across all
madness it exists in
my head
it screams to undo the
happiness for suffering
to shed
if you could choose between
tolerating and forgetting
which one would it be?
i seep into the cracks of lost
will to promise
i won't let the world turn
you into nobodyo darling, life's just like that
swipe away your tears and love again
my everything is gone
but in you i'll forever live on
