(Y/n) felt a tap on her shoulder, and she lazily looked behind her to be greeted with nothing but air. Suddenly, she felt the tap again before she heard the hushed whispers of the second Tanizaki sibling as he said, "Naomi, Haruno, you two get going. (Y/n), I'm going to move you somewhere safer., but you won't make it to the train like this."

(Y/n) nodded her head as she asked, "Are you using your holograms? Then Naomi and Haruno can get to the train undetected? His ability lets him connect to the plants around him, so he'll be able to easily catch them in the forest."

She heard the boy answer with uncertainty lacing his voice. "Yes, but once Naomi and Haruno hit the woods they'll be outside of my range." (Y/n) felt someone lift her up before she was walked towards a concrete wall and laid against it. She happily laid her exhausted form into the wall before she sighed out, "Go on you two. Even if I can't see you right now, I know you're still here. Get to the train, these two will keep me safe."

She felt someone's hand grab her own before Naomi's hushed whispers said, "We'll see you later. We're meeting at your place for a girl's night, right?"

(Y/n) couldn't help but chuckle at her forced confidence before she said, "Sounds like we all know the plan, I'll see you two later."

While the four of them were conversing by the wall, the Guild member and Kunikida were having their own exchange of words.

Anger pulsed throughout John's body, and he knew if he didn't grab the girls now that they would have lost their advantage. He didn't think the third girl that mysteriously was missing from the report would be a gifted user-- and such a strong one at that. She would have easily killed John if she didn't warn him about her ability. But, why did she even bother to warn him? Did she not want to kill him? That and Mrs. Louisa's plans were always flawless, so how had such a strong ability user flown under her radar? Just what was her ability? Was it a sort of ability disabling ability? No, it's more like it ate his ability instead...

Regardless, fighting two unknown ability users was dangerous while Lovecraft recovered.

When he turned back around to face the girls, his eyes widened at the sight.

They were gone. But, they were just there?

His eyes widened as he realized he was close to failing his mission, and if he didn't succeed, he would have a pay cut. He stuttered out, "W-where did they go! No, dammit!"

The man behind him held up his weapon once more and aimed it at the man before he said, "They're on their way somewhere safe, and no matter how hard you look you won't be able to see past the illusion."

Illusion? So there is another ability user here? Thought the young farmer to himself.

As if it were on cue, a large tentacled hand shot out from between the two and dragged a boy out from the illusions while also wrapping the strange tentacles around Kunikida. The raven-haired man slowly stood to his feet as he muttered out, "I have a debt... I'm--so tired... But my debt comes first..."

Kunikida was in shock as this man easily stood to his feet after being shot only a few minutes ago. Now that he thought about it, the man he shot was not bleeding from the wound-- does his ability make him bulletproof?

The blonde man chuckled to himself before he asked Kunikida, "Suprised? Lovecraft's one creepy guy, but he's unbeatable. You lost the moment you showed up."

The red-haired boy that was held in the tentacles struggled out, "Kunikida, they're on their way to the train now! They're going to be okay!"

Kunikida nodded his head before he pushed up his glasses and said, "And what of the third?"

"She's-- okay?"

John laughed out at their exchange once more as he said, "Did you not hear me? You lost the moment you showed up, as soon as I put a new seed into my body, I'll have complete control over all of the foliage in the area. That means, no matter where they run, I'll be able to find them! Hahaha!"

"John--"

Lovecraft was sniffing the air as he interrupted John's victory speech before he said, "One of the girls-- is still over there."

A third tentacle shot out from underneath the terrifying man's clothes before it wrapped around what looked like air next to a concrete wall. Junichirou's eyes widened as he saw his illusion disappear, and the sleeping form of (Y/n) was held up in the man's arm.

Kunikida yelled over to the Tanizaki boy, "I thought you said she was okay?! She looks half-dead to me!"

"Sh-she was okay! I didn't know she passed out!"

John's smirk only grew as he saw the familiar form of the sarcastic girl lying limp in Lovecraft's tentacles as the monstrous man brought her closer to the group.

"Oh, what fun! Looks like we'll start our torture party with her-- oh, but just until we find the other girls! You, you're a bad big brother though-- letting your sister fall into our hands after she tried so desperately to escape and--"

"Torture? Don't you ever talk about Naomi like that ever again."

His normally soft and cheery voice was laced with poison as he muttered those words to the man standing below them.

John chuckled before he asked, "Oh, and what are you going to do if I do?"

"I'll kill you."

From their right, a large truck began to peak over a nearby hill and everyone knew this could get bad if they didn't finish this up right now. However, the driver of the truck should have seen a large monster holding up three people while a man with roots protruding from his neck stood below them.

So... why wasn't the driver slowing down?

"He won't be able to see through my illusions..."

Kunikida's face paled as he took in the boy's words. "O-Oi-- Junichirou-- we're in the truck's path too!"

"So what? We're here to save Naomi... and I'll kill him before he can touch her..."

Kunikida yelled to the boy, "No, we're here to save Naomi, Haruno, and (Y/n)-- but in case you can't see it, (Y/n) is in the lane the truck will pass through too! She'll die if it hits her!"

There were only a few seconds before everyone would be barrelled by the truck when Junichirou disabled his illusion. Kunikida's words had struck a nerve as he remembered the girl's promise to see each other again tonight. How would Naomi react if she found out Y/n) was killed because of her big brother? No, Junichirou couldn't let (Y/n) die because he couldn't control his emotions.

The truck driver swerved towards the guild members as the group suddenly appeared in the road before him, which caused the three being held in the monster's tentacles to be thrown off to the side.

If (Y/n) wasn't passed out now, then the impact she just took would have knocked her out due to the intense pain her body would have been in. She was already unconscious, so she felt none of the pain that came with her right arm and right ankle being hit by the swerving truck. After all, she was the closest to the vehicle.
