Puzzled, I inquired, "What are you talking about?" Al's response was swift and accusing, "Don't act like you don't know. It's NOT a coincidence that you called me just SECONDS after GRACE entered our house." Seriously? Am I that transparent? "If you're asking if you're obvious, well then yes, bro. I just don't understand how Grace hasn't caught on," he remarked.

"Well..." I trailed off. "Okay, whatever. Just come here already. They're watching that movie again." Al's urgency was evident. "Hmm... I'm already in front of your gate." A brief pause, followed by a burst of laughter from Al. "What the hell, bro?! You're already there? You're fast! Hahahaha!" I could feel the warmth creeping up as Al continued to playfully tease me about my... well... love life.

GRACE

"Winston's coming." Two simple words, and my body froze on the spot. He's coming. Winston's coming! "You alright, Grace?" I turned to see Ace's mocking face. "I want to go home," I confessed. "Of course, you don't want that. And besides, he's already here." I froze again. I can see Winston every day on campus, but it doesn't stop me from feeling a mix of nerves and excitement whenever he's near.

"Hi Ace," he greeted as he stood at the door frame. "Hi Winston. What's with the visit?" Winston glanced at Al. "Al invited me for a movie marathon." "Oh, okay. That's nice since Grace and I are watching too. Join us?" "K." The three of them delved into a conversation, seemingly unaware that I was still there. I look back at the screen infront attempting to focus myself with the movie we were watching but the mere fact that Winston's so near me is distracting.

"Hi Grace." I was startled, nearly jumping from my seat when I heard him so close. He was casually behind the sofa where I was sitting, leaning on it. "Hey," I replied. "Mind if I join you?" I smiled and said, "Of course." It occurred to me that it was just the two of us in the living room. I was so spaced out that I didn't even felt Ace leaving my side.

"Where are they?" I asked as he settled about a foot away from me. "Ace mentioned they're getting something ready for all of us to eat." "Oh! I should help them!" I exclaimed, starting to stand from my seat. He quickly grabbed my hand, pulling me back to sit. "Al threatened to kill me if either of us goes there." "Alright," I replied, already plotting the perfect revenge on my best friend later.

WINSTON

There are moments in my life that I wish wouldn't end, and most of those memories involve Grace. Tonight is another one to add to my collection.

"This movie really brings the laughs out of me," Ace remarked, wiping away another round of tears. "I wonder why you love this movie. The title doesn't even connect with the story," Al commented while munching on a bunch of chips. "Well, aside from the fact that it has a life lesson. It shows how a TRUE GUY acts!" Ace retorted, playfully grabbing the chips from Al. That sparked a playful war. "Huh! True guy? Like hell! True guys don't go stupid!" Al shouted.

Before the banter escalated, Grace interjected, "I really appreciate the noise, guys. But I think I heard a car's horn outside. Based on the time, I believe your mom is here." The mention of Al's mom arriving set off a frenzy in the living room. Not that Aunt Marisa would turn into Godzilla, but she disliked her house turning into a mess. Chips were scattered all over, and things were not in their proper places. We hastily cleaned the room, ensuring everything was in order before opening the gate.

"Everything clean?" Al asked. "All packed up!" Ace confirmed. "Okay." Then Al disappeared to open the main door. I glanced at Ace, who looked a bit flustered, and at Grace, who, as always, was smiling. "Enjoying the night?" I asked her. She just nodded.
