Casey couldn't go anywhere alone.

Newt had found her and insisted on eating dinner with her.

Not that she was complaining, Newt wasn't bad looking.

His hair was almost gold, and it rested amongst his eyes, with tiny blonde curls barely noticeable. Almost like tiny galaxies, his brown eyes sparkled.

And just like that, he noticed her staring.

"Is there a problem?" How she hadn't noticed his accent, she had no clue. Or maybe she did, and was too busy marveling it.

"No." She said almost too quickly.

"Then why do you look like you're going to kill me?"

Did she look that way? She hoped not.

Newt didn't break her gaze, and she couldn't find that comforting. Even if she knew him hurting her would hopefully not happen. Besides, she was the newbie.

Killing her would look bad. Very bad.

"Earth to Greenie." Newt waved his hand in her gaze and snapped his fingers.

"Sorry."

"You sick?"

"No, why?"

"Cause you didn't correct me."

"What'd you do wrong?"

"Nothing wrong, it's just that I called you Greenie."

She punched him. He laughed.

He punched her. She laughed.

This routine continued until Minho found them, and they stopped for the sake of their teasing about to come.

But before Casey thought they had lost what they had, Newt came to her rescue.

"Meet you here tomorrow?"
