"hello missy" Joyce said as soon as I walked in the door "have we learned our lesson?" she continued with a grin on her face
"whatever Joyce" I said as I rolled my eyes walking to the back towards the crew room to get ready for my shift.
"damn Yeli wea you been?" Kain, my favorite co-worker asked.
"man your stupid ass boss suspended me cause i got "into it'" with a customer" I replied laughing taking my jacket off
"steady gettin in trouble mane" he shook his head taking his off too "you closin tonight?"
"unfortunately" i sighed putting my hair into a ponytail then securing it with the scrunchie on my wrist. "who the closing manger?" i looked over at him and he had his bare chest out.
"boyaaaa put yo clothes on" i laughed
"maneeee, stop frontin cause i peeped you staring fa a while" he smirked making me laugh even harder. Kain was cute but I always looked at him like my older brother, nun more nun less. He always made li slick remarks talkin bout how I be playin but I shut that shit down so quick cause ewww.
"but nah, Terrance" He said throwing his work shirt on
"thank God cause i can't even deal with Joyce ass today, i'll really fuck around and knock her dentures out" I said admiring myself in the mirror
"you hell nigga" he laughed and i laughed too before walking out the crew room to go clock in.

"Terrance you always making false promises" I whined to my manager. He promise me he would buy us pizza if I kept the drive thru time good.
"I'm definitely not buying Niyel rude ass nothing" he said making my co-workers laugh
"nobody want to keep eating yall plastic chicken nuggets bruh" i said picking one up and breaking it in half to show how nasty the inside was
"she bluffin like a muthafucka right na, she was just inna kitchen bussin them nuggets down" Kain said
"boy you must got me confused with yo no food inna house having ass" i replied. I loved closing with Terrance cause he was the cool manager, he ain really care. Everytime we had a closing shift with him it was nun but jokes bruh.
"who don't got food inna house?" Kain said acting all dramatic "boy don't make me fye yo ass up"
"shut yo stupid ass up i fight niggas too so try me if you want" I said squaring up
"man get yo ass back inna drive thru" Terrance said shaking his head laughing at both of us. I huffed walking back to my station and a car pulled up.
"hi welcome to mcdonald's how may i take your order?" i spoke into the headset
"ye, lemme get ah double cheeseburger bundle wid ah small caramel frappe" the person spoke back to me
"okay, is that all?"
"ye"
"5.42 is your total, next window" i said and with that the persons car pulled up. i smacked my teeth once i saw who it was.
"hea" c3 handed me the money and i snatched it from him. "aye don't be snatching shit like we coo" he spat making me chuckle.
"niggas swear someone scared of them" i said loud enough for him to hear
"don't make me get yo ass fired again" he said rubbing just goatee grazing his tongue against his bottom lip.
ain't this the same shit his gf got mad at him for?
"whatever, next window" i said giving him his change and with that he drove off.

"i swear he so fucking weird" i said to Ella and Suki through facetime "like why he steady at my job"
"girl it was only 2 times" Suki said
"i'm saying, he probably not even worried about you da nigga was probably hungry hell" Ella chimed in
"whatever y'all say bro" I said putting my ugg on "i really don't want to take this uber it's so fucking late" I said trying to change the subject
"stay onna phone with us" Ella replied
"what y'all gon do on the phone if I get kidnapped?" I furrowed my eyebrows
"yell what else" Suki laughed
"y'all play too fucking much" i replied making them both laugh. I went on pause to book my uber and waited in the lobby the store. After about 8 minutes the uber finally pulled up.
"just track my location make sure ion get killed please" i said to them before hanging up and getting in the uber
"Niyel?" the deep voice asked
"yeah" i replied getting in the backseat. The rest of the ride was pretty quiet. He had the radio playing lowly the whole ride.
"here you are." he said pulling up in front of my house
"thanks" i replied and got out his car. i took my keys out my bag and unlocked the front door ensuring not to make too much noise cause it was midnight and i knew everyone was probably sleep. i lightly closed the door behind me ensuring to turn all the locks.
