Being a slytherin (reader x draco)

First task ~3~

After hours of crying and thinking , I went to the great hall for dinner . My eyes were puffy and my cheeks were pink. I didn't bother brushing my hair, I was sad.

I entered the great hall and all the eyes were on me especially his ocean blue eyes . I didn't look at him. I saw Cedric coming towards me . " come y/n sit with me .", he said. I nodded. We sat on the table , then his smile faded when he looked at me .

He put his hands on my cheek . " Did you cry ?", he asked . I sniffed. " No ,I didn't .", I said looking away from his eyes. " what happened y/n?", he asked .
" i- I'm scared , Cedric I can't lose you , I don't have a-anyone left , I won't b-bear it .", I said while tears were rolling down my cheeks.

He wiped my tears with his thumb. "Look at me , I won't leave you , I promise ,okay?.", he said. I nodded wiping my own tears .

" Now the moment you've all been waiting for the champion selection .", Dumbledore said . He stood near the goblet and extended his hand , the fire turned red and a paper flew from the fire in Dumbledore's hand . "The durmstrang champion is Viktor Krum.", Dumbledore said. Every one cheered and Viktor stood up and shook hands with Dumbledore.

Another paper flew in Dumbledore's hand . " the champion of beauxbatons is Fleur Delacour.", he said. Everyone cheered again and Fleur shook hands with Dumbledore.Another paper flew in his hand . "The hogwarts champion is Cedric Diggory.", he said . Everyone started cheering and clapping.

My eyes watered but I didn't cry I smiled at Cedric and slightly pushed him to get up. " excellent! We now have our three champions ,  but in the end only one will go down in history , only one will hoist this chalice of champions this vessel of victory , .. the triwizard cup.", Dumbledore said.

The fire suddenly went red and another paper flew in Dumbledore's hand . And the hall went silent." Harry Potter?HARRY POTTER .", Dumbledore shouted. This must be a mistake Harry can't be competing. I believe he didn't put his name in the goblet but what Am I to him , not even a friend.

" He's a cheat .", everyone shouted. And with that Harry left with Dumbledore.

Everyone started leaving the hall and went to their dorms . As I entered the slytherin common room , I saw the platinum blonde boy who I literally told him to confess his feelings to the one he liked .

As I was going to walk up the stairs to my dorm. someone held my wrist .
" y/n .", draco said .
" what Malfoy ? ...If you want to say anything annoying please keep it to yourself now I'm not in the mood .", I said . " i-I just want to apologize, I'm sorry.", he said . Did he really just apologize . Malfoy apologized .

" I didn't mean to hurt you , I know he means a lot to you and I-I don't like kailyen by the way , she is a stupid
mud- blood .", he said . Of course I didn't believe his words . He was waiting for the moment he could kiss her . I brushed it off . " okay Malfoy I accept your apology, can I leave now .", I said.

" y-yeah you can.", he said. " my wrist Malfoy .", I said . " o-oh I'm sorry.",he said. I turned around and went to my dorm.

I cried a little more but I couldn't stop thinking about Draco . His voice , his minty scent and his hair that laid perfectly on his eyebrows .

Today, is the day of the first task . I'm so worried about Cedric but he promised.

I was standing among the crowd and I bumped into her . Kailyen Taylor. " I-I'm sorry.", I said. She nodded and kept going. She really just left , not even saying a word. I don't blame her , I'm in slytherin.

I wanted to see Cedric so I went to the place we're the champions are. I entered and I saw him in a black and yellow robe with his last name printed on the back. I ran and pulled him into an embrace.

" y/n !what are you doing here.", he asked. " ced , be careful don't risk your life for the golden egg and I'm here okay , I'm supporting you til the end .", I said. " I love you y/n .", he said. " I do too .", I replied.

I saw him standing out and ready to fight the dragon. He did it . He got the golden egg .

Harry was the last one to go . I saw him struggling with the dragon he got. I'm not his friend but I was scared for him . I wanted that friendship back but how. Harry got the golden egg and I cheered for him.

After the task I went to the great hall for dinner. I sat on the hufflepuff table waiting for Cedric . " what is she doing here , I wasn't talking at first because she was with Cedric but why is she here now.", a girl whispered to her friend.

I stood up and left , I went to my dorm and sat there looking at the ceiling, drowning in my own thoughts .

Why Slytherin? And why me ? No one likes me , I don't have friends , I'm lonely. I'm not enough. And I just kept thinking about these things.

I heard a knock on the door and I opened . Draco was standing there looking at my puffy eyes . I don't like crying in front of people especially him.

" Come in.", I said . He entered and he sat on the end of my bed . And I sat at the top. " What's wrong ? I saw you leaving before seeing your friend, did something happen?", he asked . " why slytherin Draco?", I asked . It was the first time I called him by his name and he didn't really care.

" Why me ? I don't have anyone Draco , even my only best friend is risking his own life and I can't do anything about it .", I said while tears came rushing down my cheeks . He didn't talk , he just looked at me . " No mom , no dad either , I'm all alone even my brother doesn't reply to my letters .", I continued .

He pulled me into a hug and I cried in his shoulder,we stayed like this til I fell asleep .

I loved him but he didn't love me . He was only sorry for me , he didn't look at me the way he looked at her even though , she is a gryffindor.
