"Y/N" Fred sat down across from me a few days later in the library with a grin on his face
"Fred" I looked up from my book
"You know yesterday I was wondering if you have anything planned for this weekend?" he asked me still with a grin on his face
"No I don't" I answered
"You" he pointed at me whispering "me" He pointed at himself "Hogsmeade?"
"You can't just ask like a normal human being can you?" I giggled
"No that would be boring!So?" he looked me into the eyes
"Yeah sure!" I agreed. On my inside I was screaming, happy that he asked me out even though he didn't make it an official date.

"Ugh what should I wear?" I complained on Saturday trying to find something suitable to wear.
"It's just Hogsmeade relax!" Fleur laughed. I forgot to tell her that I was going with Fred so she thought it would just be a normal trip.
"Maybe it is a bit more special! By the way I can't go with you" I informed her
"Do you have a date with someone? That ginger boy?" she asked
"Wait how do you know?" I was surprised because she either knew somehow or was just guessing something
"OMG I am right!" Fleur giggled "My best friend has a date!" she squealed
"It's not that big of a deal!" I grabbed a jumper from my trunk
"No, No, No it is" Fleur looked at me "I knew that you had a crush on him!"
"How do you know that? I never really told you!"
"I am pretty good at reading people, Y/N and you know that!" she laughed "When you were talking about this Weasley boy your eyes were sparkling. I also know that there is a reason for the date and that something happened that led to this! I just can't figure what" she told me
"Wait, did you guys like kisses or something?" it hit Fleur and my face probably didn't make it any better "Why didn't you tell me? My best friend having her first kiss and not telling me?!"
"I don't know I just kinda forgot to tell you!" I shrugged
"This explains your nervousness! But don't worry too much and just wear what you feel comfortable in!"
I decided to wear my favourite jumper, a pair of jeans.
"By the way I have to remind you now!" Fleur told me on the way to breakfast
"Of what?"
"You told me that you weren't here to fall in love and it might seem like you did!" she chuckled
"Oh shut up!" I chuckled
We sat down at our actual Beauxbatons table for once and I grabbed some toast for breakfast
"Look, mail is here!" Fleur pointed out and owls were streaming into the Great Hall.
I saw a strange owl flying over to where Fleur and I were sitting. The owl dropped a letter onto my plate and nearly fell onto it as well
"Weird I never saw that owl before" I said starting to open the letter
Meet me at the entrance of the 3 broomstick at eleven

"What does it say?" Fleur looked over my shoulder curiously
"It is just from Fred telling me where to meet me later on" I explained
