the house was in ruins and Sonic was gone, during the night we had been attacked by a pack of vampires, they'd taken him and left the house trashed, I was beyond pissed, I had already been angry with Scourge for causing my brother to revert back to how he was before becoming a vampire

"What do we do now? They've taken Sonic" Tails stated worried

"What we do now is give the queen what she wants" The voice made my eyes sharpen as i turned to looked Scourge in the face, he didn't look to pleased being here either 

"I told you to stay away" I growled

"Yeah and since when do i listen?" He rose a brow, he stood under the shadow of the forests edge Martha and Connor got into a fighting stance as did everyone else, besides the witch who stood in iron chains

"Where is my brother?" I growled, he winced as he stood on the edge of the shadow

"The nest... Fiona took me to see him... A witch is there keeping him alive..." He answered, he looked desgusted, i wasn't sure it was aimed at me or something else "Look, the witch spoke of the blood fungus-" he never finished as Amy's eyes widened

"She wants the blood fungus?! Hah! It'll burn her like sunlight from the inside out! Only a pure vampire can consume it! Not many know it does that, but if she wants to die, i say give it to her and her filthy nest" Amy laughed, i went ridged

"You mean to tell me it could've killed me and Maurice?" I muttered

"It could have, but your weren't ever tainted with mortal blood, the nest is thick of impures" Amy scoffed "So what harm will it do to give it to her? Hmm? She'll die within moment"

"But what about Maurice?" I asked

"He'll die Silver... Regardless of what we do, If i had known he was dying when you turned him I would've gone after you! But hey I'm just big ass fuck up who's gonna go and stab themselves with stake to the heart" Scourge scoffed as he walked into the sunlight and stood in front of me, everyone went silent

"How... How are you..." Gadget murmured

"I'm a day walker, It's why she sent me after the fungus, cause guess what, i can't die by sunlight!" Scourge rolled his eyes "Now are we going to help each other or am i going to get on my knees and let you all kill me?" Scourge asked
