Kairo walks into Ms Lisas party decorated semi crowded house seeing her in the kitchen cleaning the counters with a pink cloth,she noticed Kai and looks up at him then looks away

Kairo lowly sucks his teeth now having to be around people that he's been avoiding but he had to show up.He starts bopping his head to the music looking around for the person thats being celebrated today

"Kai wassup"Richie exclaimed walking over to him with a paper plate with cake on it.

"See ma I told you he was coming,I saved some cake for you"

"Congratulations by the way...on the new job"Kairo congratulated since this was a surprise party to celebrate Richies new security job he got

"Appreciate it,come here"Richie motioned for him to follow,Kai does so as they walk to the kitchen going towards a foiled up paper plate

"That is cake and I packed up some food for you too"

"Thanks Rich"

"Ma which cooler is the drinks in"

"Blue is watuh,red is everything else"Lisa answered him continuing to clean the counters since the party is gonna end soon

"No...get it for him"

"Nah Richie its cool thanks for the food imma just get up outta here"Kairo told him speaking quickly as he takes the cake plate and stacks it on top of the other plate with food

"Wait Kai-Party aint over till 6:15"

Kai ignored him fighting back tears as he heads towards the front door, putting the plates in one hand he uses the other to open the screen door stepping out of the house

"Mom what was that"

"Richie look how late he is...I texted him to be here to surprise you when you show up and he couldn't do that"

"Shutting down the world when we haven't did anything to him"

"But he showed up who cares if he wasnt here to surprise me"Richie argued back trying to get her to be reason with him but she just shakes her head,Rich takes a deep breath out before heading out the door but when he gets outside Kai is already gone
