Never let a fast talking person, like myself, give a 4min speech. An average person has 150 words in a 1mins speech. So 4-5mins is 600-750 words. I wrote 789 words and was finishing at 3mins. Now that would mean I'm speaking about 250 words a min. I had this whole speech planned out.
This was our first speech. An introduction speech. I was gonna talk about a near death experience but people were tired of that. So I was gonna write about mental health. However, when I got up there to talk.... I rambled about my family..... it was uh um terrible. So never again will I do an introduction speech. You can learn about me by talking to me :)
