Surely not long later the boy sat up rubbing his eyes before scanning the room. Kenma shyly looked up at Lev who was emerged in his game before he heard a whimper as he looked at the boy, he held the stuffed cat close to him and pouted "Kuwoo.." The small boy mumbled out as he looked up at Lev, "aw bud, he's at work but he will be back in 4 hours" Lev explained before sliding his phone in his pocket, Kenma huffed and cuddled his stuffed animal tighter. "Hungry?" Lev asked pointing to the kitchen, Kenma shook his head and finished rubbing away the sleep in his eyes. "Alright, I'm gonna make myself a sandwich." Lev told the boy as he got up turning the tv back on for the small boy, Kenma looked up "mhm juice" he spoke softly with glowing eyes, Lev crossed his arms raising a brow. "Have you had water? You seem to be living on juice bud, water first" Lev said before walking off to the kitchen, he came back with his sandwich, energy drink and Kenmas water filled sippy. Kenma pouted but took the sippy as he held it close to his chest, Lev ate watching the tv but felt the boys eyes eat him alive. Lev took a glance to see the hungry boy watching him eat making Lev sigh and hand over half of his ham sandwich, Kenma took it with both hands with stuffie and sippy tucked in his arms as he ate contently making Lev smile. After eating Lev took the plate back to the kitchen and sat back down to see not only kenma missing but his energy drink, oh no.. he thought as he got up looking around. Sure enough there was kenma behind the couch drinking the man's drink, Lev pulled the couch off the wall and bent down infront the boy. "Bad kenma, don't take people's stuff." Lev said sternly as he pulled the drink out the boys grip making him sniffle, Kenma crawled out from behind the couch before Lev pushed it back against the wall. " Kenma drinks out of his special cup only" Lev instructed the boy to which kenma nodded crawling back up on the couch and laying his head onto Lev's lap as soon as he sat back down, Lev couldn't stay stern at the boy as he petted his head. Kenma laid as he drank from his sippy while watching the tv, Kenma was curled up so cute that Lev couldn't dare move the boy. Kenma sat up after awhile starting to become uninterested in all the tv he had been watching, Lev got up and grabbed a pen and note book from the kitchen and placed it in the boys hands. Kenma took it happily and started to scribble away as Lev sat on his phone again, Kenma tried really hard to draw a picture for Kuroo as he flipped the note book every so minutes until he created the perfect work. It kept the boy entertained for a good hour. Kenma felt in a place where he could relax and not worry about anything or anyone around him, finally he was content with the picture he drew ripping it out the notebook but as he did it ripped his drawing almost in half. Lev heard as sniffles filled the room making him quickly jump to sit up on the couch, he looked down at the very distressed boy. "Hey kenma what's wrong? Lev asked as he scooted down onto the floor next to Kenma, the boy held up his ripped drawing as the tears welted up in his eyes. "Awh, it's okay I can fix that easy" Lev said as he got up, Kenma followed holding his ripped drawing up in front of himself. Lev gently grabbed the drawing as he put it up on the table while kenma sobbed, Lev handed the drawing back that was now tapped up and he even made sure it was lined up perfectly. "Perfect buddy" Lev said putting the tape up, Kenma held the drawing close to his chest as he closed his eyes. Lev bent down and wiped the boys tears away, "All better now, no more tears" Lev said with a stern parenting voice. Kenma nodded and headed back to the lounge room, he packed up the note book and pen handing them back. "You keep them buddy, you will find more use than I would" Lev insisted. Kenma held the notebook to his chest as he softly swayed hugging it in a way of appreciation for the notebook, Lev smiled and sat back on the couch pulling out his phone. Kenma stood in front of Lev and watched him as he hugged the book, Lev looked down on the boy "hmm what do you want boy?" Lev asked. Kenma scanned the room before putting his arms up in the air "uppy.." Kenma whispered to the older man, Lev sighed "fine just this once" Lev said as he picked the boy up and placed him in his lap before grabbing out his phone. Kenma watched as the man played games on his phone for a good while, he felt comfortable sitting safe in this man's lap. The door was heard opening as kenma pricked up from laying back on Lev, Kuroo entered the lounge room with a sigh as kenma gave a happy wiggle and crawled down out of Levs lap. Kuroo bent down to the boy "Hey kenma bud, you been good for Lev?" Kuroo asked as he ruffled the boys hair, Kenma nodded before pulling out his picture he drew. "For me?" Kuroo asked as he was handed the drawing, Kenma softly nodded as he twisted his feet in on themselves. Kuroo smiled widely "Thank you, it's exactly what I needed" Kuroo said as he got up and pinned it on the fridge, Kenma gave a happy wiggle and headed back to the lounge room. Back in the lounge room Kuroo thought it would be a good chance to get kenma talking about himself or why he ran, Kuroo sat the boy down on the couch before pulling a seat in front of the boy. Kenma felt the atmosphere grow heavier as he sunk low in his chair, Kuroo let out a nervous huff before he got into asking questions. "So you're from the orphanage?" Kuroo asked as he looked down at Kenma who was fidgeting with his hands, he tried not to answer but responded giving in as he gave a small nod of his head scared he would get in trouble. "Its okay, I just want to know so we can help." Kuroo said going to rub kenmas shoulder, Kenmas eyes widened before closing tight and bringing his hands over his face as a shield from Kuroos hands. " Oh.. I didn't mean to scare you, I would never ever hurt you." Kuroo said as he quickly pulled his hand away and put it back on his own knee, Lev frowned at Kenmas natural response to someone raising a hand to him. "Did they hurt you?" Kuroo asked quietly as he looked at the boy, kenma let out a soft sniffle lowering his hands and nodded with a pout tugging at his lip. "Why would they do that?" Lev questioned looking over at Kuroo, Kuroo shrugged before paying his attention back on kenma who started to sob uncomfortably from the whole questioning situation. "Why did they kenma?" Kuroo asked sympathetically as tears fell down kenmas face, he was getting overwhelmed as he raised his hands again "ah dun mean! sowwy mhsowwy!" He cried out closing his eyes and shielding himself again. It was the first full sentence he had heard the boy say and he wish it wasn't in this circumstance, Kuroo frowned as tried to pull kenmas hands away from his face to which he held them up harder. "He's having a traumatic flashback, careful" Lev said as he sat up looking at kenma shaking and trying to mermer his own sobs, Kuroo couldn't find the words to say to the boy. "No you didn't mean to and you're safe now, you're not there anymore." Lev said coming closer to the boy and rubbing his shoulders to bring him back to reality, kenma lowered his hands as he let his contained sobs out and grabbed for Lev. Lev picked him up and rocked kenma softly hushing in his ear, he patted his back as he cried into Levs shoulder. "Good job, let it all out. You're safe in this apartment, no ones hands are going to hurt you" Lev said comforting the boy trying to grasp the now reality, Kuroo was surprised Lev knew exactly how to handle it so quickly as it started to work. Kenmas sobs went back to sniffles as he wiped his face into Levs shirt, Lev looked at Kuroo." That's enough for now" Lev mumbled as he softly soothed the boy by bouncing him gently in his arms. Kuroo nodded, it was going to be hard to walk around this thin ice to find answers without sending him into panic like now. "I'm really proud of you kenma, thank you for sharing with us" Kuroo said standing up and putting his hand on Kenmas back, kenma gave a small nod before leaning his body at kuroo waiting for him to grab him out of levs arms. "here, he wants you" Lev said as he tilted the boy to Kuroo. Kuroo grabbed the boy and gave him a big cuddle before sitting back down on the couch with him resting in his chest, kenma settled and closed his eyes holding onto kuroos shirt tightly. It made Kuroos heart cry, how could someone hurt a child like this? Kenma was about to fall asleep but Kuroo sat up. "How about some dinner first?" Kuroo asked kenma in his arms as he rubbed his eyes tiredly but nodded, Kuroo put him down on the ground and held his hand to the kitchen. Kenma followed slowly holding his sippy and cat plush under his arms, he let Kuroo pick him up and sit him at the kicken table. He laid his head on his plush animal as it rested on the table, Lev followed and sat on the stool next to kenma. Kenmas eyes were closed and his mouth was slightly open as he started to doze off again, Lev poked Kenmas cheek softly "hey, we said dinner then bed" Lev said with a warm smile, "sit up, come on bud" Kuroo said as he boiled the pasta, kenma slowly lifted his head and nodded rubbing his eyes and sipping from his special cup. "Do you like pasta kenma?" Kuroo asked turning back to the stove, kenma nodded softly. He loved pasta, it was one of his comfort foods. "He can't see you nod or shake your head when he's facing away, give him a little yes or no with your words kiddo" Lev said looking down at the boy, kenma lowered his head and mumbled "mhyea" he muffled out before bringing his head back up, Kuroo took that as a win finding some food the kid liked that wasn't chips. Sure both were just carbs but it didn't hurt for the boy to have a good carb intake right now, Kuroo smiled "that's good, got a favorite fo-" Kuroo said before being interrupted "appie" kenma quickly answered his question, he knew the sooner he mentioned it the sooner he would be able to have it. "Ooh that's nice, I don't have any in the freezer right now though. Maybe tomorrow?" Kuroo said back, kenma pouted because he wanted it now but nodded softly before correcting himself "mhm" he spoke softly. "Here it's just some cheese pasta, nothing fancy" Kuroo said placing the bowl he got him along with the kids cutlery, kenma pulled it towards him and spooned it to his mouth. "Careful it's hot!" Lev said leaning over to stop him from putting it near his mouth, the shout made kenma drop the spoon in his lap along with the hot mac and cheese. Kenma hissed as the heat hit his bare legs close to his thighs, Lev was quick to pull kenmas chair out and dust it off his lap. "I'm so sorry, I forget these things. I need to be more careful and mindful" Kuroo said palming himself in the face, Lev sat back down as kenma rubbed the cheese off his lap. "It's okay, my sister was always at me to be mindful of kids. She's good with them" Lev mentioned as he watched kenma taste the cheese off his lap and give a happy wiggle before pulling himself closer to the table to blow on his food. "Ill be more mindful next time" Kuroo said leaning on the table, Lev used his foot to pull the stool kenma was sitting on closer back to the table so he didn't fall between the stool and table. He dipped his finger in the pasta and tried it again with a happy giggle making Kuroo smile in awe, kenma picked up the pasta with his hand and started to eat it. " Awh buddy, use the spoon remember" Kuroo said pointing to it in his other hand, kenma looked at the spoon and lowered it under the table looking straight at Kuroo before they heard the spoon hit the floor. Lev huffed out a breath of laugh "not obvious at all" Lev joked looking at kenma who was happily eating with a fist full of elbow shape pasta, it smudged across his face as he contently ate. "Just tonight.." Kuroo mumbled as he went around and picked the spoon up and threw it in the sink, kenma smiled and continued to eat. He had ate half of what was in his bowl before wiggling in his seat, the wiggle was less forced like his happy wiggles. It was in all honesty more of a subtle squirm, he kept his eyes down at his food as he felt the two set of eyes on him. He tried to stop it but he couldn't as he felt the pressure of his bladder building in his lower abdomen, kenma lowered his head as he looked into his lap while his thighs pressed together rubbing eachother. "Hey Lev when did he last go to the bathroom?" Kuroo asked watching as kenma put his hand back in the bowl blushing, Lev shrugged. "Uhm.. He didn't go while you were gone, so last time you took him" Lev mumbled out noticing how long it had actually been, Kuroo sighed "hey bud, I said I didn't want you holding it anymore. It will make tummy very sick, let's go now." Kuroo said holding his arms out to kenma, kenma gave a cross look at Kuroo and pulled his bowl to his chest. "Nuh!" Kenma shouted kicking his feet, Lev blinked blankly. Kuroo hadn't seen angry kenma before "the food isn't going anywhere, let's go now" Kuroo said going to put his hands under Kenmas arms. Kenma whined frustrated and threw his bowl on the ground kicking more. "My goodness, I think someone is over tired" Lev joked patting Kenmas head, kenma quickly hissed as he grabbed Levs hand and raised it to his mouth before biting down, Lev cussed and pulled his hand away. "ow that hurts, control your child kuroo" Lev said rubbing his hand that kenma let go of after hearing the cuss word, Kuroo was completely shocked that he actually took a bite of Lev. "Kenma, we don't bite our friends! Not good at all, very sad" Kuroo said scolding kenma, kenma felt the tears grab at his eyes before completely breaking into a cry. Kenma never heard Kuroo sound so mean! It broke him, he shook intensely wiping his eyes and letting out whines. "what do you need to say to Lev?" Kuroo asked kenma pointing to Lev and his hand, Kenmas cries were hysterical as he tried to talk. "S...so..rwy" was all kenma managed to bring up, Lev sighed. " Okay.. Just don't do it again, you got some sharp ones in that mouth." Lev said looking at his hand, Kuroo rubbed the back of his neck. " No more tears, you're done eating now. Come and go bathroom" Kuroo said as he lifted kenma out of the seat, Kenmas cries were muffled into Kuroos shirt as the cheese off of Kenmas face and hands smudged into Kuroos shirt. Kuroo sighed "sorry Lev, I did not expect him to pull a stunt like that" Kuroo said walking off, Lev got up and started to pick up the pasta off the floor. "I didn't as well, I should of reacted the moment he started to put my hand near his mouth" Lev sighed as Kuroo wandered off to take kenma to the bathroom, Kenmas cries went back to sniffles as he was put back down at the bathroom door. Kuroo bent down looking at kenma, he frowned at kenma. "We don't bite, we use our words." Kuroo reminded kenma before undoing the buttons on the overalls, kenma lowered his head and nodded waiting to go pee as he felt his knees go to buckle in fear of being in trouble. Kuroo let go and left kenma to go into the bathroom by himself, kenma pulled his overalls down and got worried as he couldn't go pee anymore. Normally when in trouble he would hold his bladder so he didn't have an accident while getting scolded as it would make it worse, kenma wiped his eyes and pulled the overalls back up feeling his abdomen lock up. He flushed before opening the door to see Kuroo waiting, kenma waited for Kuroo to do up the buttons but he didn't. He took his hand and walked him straight to his room, he needed to change him into some comfy clothes for bed anyway along with the fact it had pasta cheese over the clothes he had on. Kuroo sat kenma on the bed, he pulled out a pack of wipes and wiped Kenmas face down. Kenma grabbed Kuroos arm trying to stop him tossing his head side to side as to avoid the wipe, though he was no match and Kuroo managed to get his face clean. "Im just cleaning you up so you don't need a bath kenma" Kuroo mentioned grabbing Kenmas hands and cleaning them as well, kenma nodded with a big frown. Kuroo pulled kenma to stand him up on the bed, kenma stood with a small wobble to his legs trying to gain some balance. Kuroo felt Kenmas hands land on his shoulders for assistance, Kuroo couldn't stay mad at kenma. He liked being good cop, Lev was a better bad cop anyway. Kuroo slipped down the overalls as kenma stood out of them still holding onto Kuroo, kuroo then took the shirt off the boy as he let go of Kuroos shoulders and fell to his butt as the shirt slipped off. Kuroo smiled and walked over to his cupboard pulling out a button up pajama set, it was a soft green colour with white poka dots. The sleeves and pants were short, slipping the shirt around kenma and buttoning it up kenma felt the fabric and smiled. He really liked the feeling of the soft cotton on him, Kuroo finished doing it up and grabbed the pants slipping them over Kenmas ankles before pulling them up as Kenma used his hands to lift his butt up off the bed to slip them over. Kenma rubbed his eyes tilting his head shyly and mumbled pointing out the door, Kuroo looked at the door to see Lev standing with Kenmas cat stuffie and sippy with warm milk. Kuroo stood up as Lev bent down in front of kenma who was sitting on the bed, kenma looked at Levs hand which still had the indents of his teeth left and redness around the area. Kenma pouted and mumbled " mhm sowry Wev" kenma said through his hands that were over his eyes while he shifted in discomfort, Lev smiled and handed over the plush cat. "I know you are, that's why this big boy is now going to use his words instead of his teeth to tell us how he feels." Kenma nodded grabbing the cat to cover his face more, Lev pulled it out of his face and gave a warm smile. "good job, here is your milk" Lev said handing over the sippy, kenma grabbed it and looked up at Kuroo waiting for permission. " You can have it bud, you went bathroom like we asked you to just before bed" Kuroo said grabbing his own night shirt out of his cupboard as kenma was reminded of his locked up bladder, kenma then looked at Lev as well for permission. "Ah gee.. He really took what I said to heart earlier about no milk before bed" Lev sighed and nodded at kenma, kenma held it in his mouth and crawled across the bed pulling the blankets back and getting under them. Kenma laid down holding his plush cat as he now held the sippy with his hand and sucked on it while closing his eyes, Lev pushed himself up using the bed. "I should be careful to, kids don't get the whole joking thing " Lev said putting his hands in his pockets, Kuroo slipped the night shirt on and nodded. " lots of new learning curves for all of us tonight" Kuroo sighed looking over at kenma suckling his sippy, Lev nodded and left the room. Kuroo was about to follow when kenma shot up and let out a whine, Kuroo looked back to see kenma sitting up and holding his hand out to him. "Remember our words kenma" Kuroo said looking at kenma sternly "day..kuwo.." Kenma whispered to the man standing in the door way, it made Kuroo go all soft hearing kenma say his name, Kuroo nodded and walked back over to the bed and got under the covers. Kenma grabbed Kuroos hand and laid back down closing his eyes, Kuroo smiled but noticed that kenma hadn't had all his milk. It looked more than half full, must of been really full on the pasta or the words Lev joked that day still were in the back of his mind. Only kenma knew the answer. Kenma started to subtly snore under his breath with his mouth open, his body was limp which let Kuroo know he was asleep. Kuroo closed his eyes himself and went off to sleep. Kuroo wasn't long gone into deep sleep when he heard tossing and crying, he sat up and looked down to see kenma shaking and whining scared. "Hey hey hey, nightmare bud it's not real wakey wakey." Kuroo said softly shaking kenmas shoulder, it was breaking his heart watching kenma fight the darkness that laid in his dreams. Kenma gasped and opened his eyes in shock, the shock was quick to turn to tears of fear.."Kenma, it's okay it's just a scary dream" Kuroo said putting the stuffie in Kenmas arms, kenma squeaked and grabbed it tightly. It calmed him instantly as he closed his eyes again, Kuroo felt useful as it soothed him really quickly. "See all better now" Kuroo said brushing his hair out of his view, kenma nodded very softly opening his eyes. He felt really safe having Kuroo beside him tonight, Kenma knew the rules were bathroom shuts at 10pm and to be honest he thought that was a rule everyone used when it was just a rule implemented to stop the kids lurking around at night in the orphanage. He rubbed his knees together as he laid down, he was use to waking up at bursting point but learnt to sleep past the feeling or get scolded for leaving his bed. He closed his eyes and slid his hand down under the blankets resting the hand between his thighs giving some comfort to himself, he fell asleep like this. Kuroo watched the small boy get comfortable and fall asleep, once he knew he was out again he let himself fall asleep as well. Kenma woke up early the next morning; as in 4am early. He sat up as he yawned and rubbed his eyes, a sudden realisation hit him making him open his eyes. His tummy wasn't bursting anymore like last night, it was empty. He forgot that when he did wake up bursting he would normally wake to urine soaked sheets or a really really sore tummy, kenma softly shifted and that's when he felt it. The dreaded feeling of coolness under him and his clothes sticking uncomfortably, he didn't know what to do. It was the second time on Kuroos bed, he was going to scold him and make him sleep on the floor. Kenmas mind felt heavy with bad thoughts as he started to rock himself trying to self soothe, Kuroo felt the bed move a little and open his eyes to see kenma blank face rocking. " Hey you're up early, do you need to go pee?" Kuroo asked watching kenma rock awkwardly, Kenma stopped rocking and mumbled gibberish to himself. Kuroo raised an eyebrow and tapped his shoulder. Kenma held the sheets in his hands white knuckled, the tap to his shoulder stopped his train of thought as he looked at Kuroo. "I asked a question bud" Kuroo spoke on the sterner side thinking the boy was purposely ignoring him, kenma didnt know what to say but as he went to say he was wet and cold Lev came in and laid on the bed. "Gooood morning, look at us all up so early" Lev joked, Kuroo hushed him as he waited for kenma to answer. "What's this about?" Lev asked Kuroo as he watched the boy in bed, Kuroo sighed. "He's doing it again, refusing to go bathroom or answer me about it" Kuroo said sitting up in bed now. "He's just shy about it Kuroo, be gentle now it's only been one full day." Lev reminded Kuro, he nodded "You're right sorry" Kuroo apologized, Lev looked at kenma who was staring blankly. "Maybe instead of giving the option you make it a statement, he's only four so he still needs a lot of directing" Lev told Kuroo, kuroo nodded "okay, let's go to the bathroom bud" Kuroo said holding his hand out to the boy, kenma snapped back to reality and that's when the tears started. He was for sure in trouble now, Kuroo gave a confused frown. Kenma held his blankets tightly not wanting to reveal what laid under, Lev could tell kenma was hiding something. Lev shuffled closer to the tearful boy. "Hey kenma, I'm just gonna check something" Lev said as he slipped his hand under the sheets. Kenmas tears turned to distraught cries, Lev stopped as he felt the wetness around the boy. " Kuroo we got a little problem" Lev whispered to Kuroo "what is it?" Kuroo asked curiously, Lev gave some side glances to Kenma holding onto his sheets tightly. Kuroo was quick to slip his hand under the sheets and give a feel, his hand was met with very damp bedsheets as he let out a quiet cuss word. Kenma tried to muffle the cries, Lev softly pushed the childs hair behind his ear. "Another accident kiddo?" Lev spoke softly as he slowly tried to guide the sheets off of kenma to which kenma grabbed tighter. "It's okay, we just want to help darling" Lev insisted as kenma let go finally and brought his knees to his chest hugging them feeling exposed, Lev slowly peeled the sheets back and gave a sympathetic look to kenma. Kuroo just watched not wanting to crowed the the poor child, kenma sniffled seeing how big the wet patch around him was. "You've been holding it again buddy" Lev said pointing to the large wet spot, all Kenma could do is nod and cover his face. He was in complete embarrassment as yesterdays worth of liquid sat underneath him, Kuroo got out of the bed. He put his arms out for him as he was quick to shuffle back away on the bed, he didn't want to make Kuroo all yucky too. "Can I just borrow you a minute Kuroo?" Lev asked, Kuroo nodded walking away from the child with Lev. "That's two nights in a row, maybe it's not something he can control yet or it's the new environment" Lev mentioned, Kuroo shrugged "we will just have to wake him in the middle of the night then" Kuroo suggested "you wanna wake him when he's sleeping peacefully?" Lev threw in, Kuroo sighed "well I don't know maybe he just got cold" Kuroo confessed, Lev leaned into Kuroos ear "you could try drynites on the poor kid" Lev suggested, Kuroo sighed "i don't want to embarrass him, he doesn't seem like the type of kid to allow you to even bring them near him." Kuroo said looking over at kenma who was looking at his wet clothes, Lev walked back over to help clean it up "doesn't hurt to try it" Lev said grabbing kenma off the bed and standing him beside him holding his hand, Kuroo nodded and gathered the sheets. Kenma stood shifting uncomfy as the wetness stuck to him and the urine had gone up his back while sleeping, Lev softly rubbed his shoulder to comfort him. "here take him and clean him up, I'll deal with the bed" Lev said taking the sheets off of Kuroo, kuroo gave a look of thanks before grabbing Kenmas hand and leading him to the bathroom. Kenma pulled against Kuroos pull with a whine, Kuroo stopped to look back. "Kenma bathroom, let's go" Kuroo said pulling a little harder, kenma shook his head as his breathing grew heavier. "Cant!" Kenma cried out pointing to the clock in Kuroos room, he looked to see it was 4:44am. "Bud, there's no time you can't use the bathroom" Kuroo said bending down and holding both the boys hands, kenma was so confused not believing him. "Nuh.. mh bad.." Kenma said looking down at the floor, Lev stood behind kenma. "You're okay to use anything here at anytime, as long as it's safe" Lev told the boy making him look up behind him, he looked down at Kuroo again before nodding. "good, you'll get use to it soon" Kuroo said standing up and grabbing his hand again and leading him to the bathroom, kenma stopped at the door and took a look around before quickly stepping into the bathroom. Nothing happened, no scolding or yelling as he sighed with a shaken breath. " See it's okay" Kuroo said, but he knew it wasn't going to last long as he closed the door behind him and turned the tap on to the bath. Kenma stayed on the mat at the door as he waited to be wiped down, Kuroo poured some of the bubble wash into the bath and swirled it around. "I know but it's okay, don't worry." Kuroo said slipping his hands under Kenmas arms and stood him on the mat next to the bath, kenma whined and pointed to the cloth. Kuroo shook his head "real bath" Kuroo said turning the tap off, kenma stomped his feet in a fit of retaliation. Kuroo sighed watching him stomp his feet around while whining, " no no, bath. No more stomping" Kuroo said bending down at Kenmas level, kenma stood still with his hands tight fisted by his side as he screamed at Kuroo. Kuroo didnt know what to do, did he give in or go straight in the deep end? Lev knocked on the door and popped his head in to see kenma screaming at Kuroo in a fit, Lev walked in. " My my what a loud scream you have, I could hear you on the other side of the apartment" Lev said bending down in front of kenma as well but at every word that was said he just screamed in response, Kuroo looked at Lev. " He doesn't want a bath, I couldn't get him in the other day." Kuroo admitted, Lev crossed his arms as kenma screamed over Kuroo trying to talk. " My goodness kenma, let's lower our voices" Lev said bringing his hands up and lowering them to add some imagery to his request. "AH!" Kenma yelled stomping his foot and crossing his arms, Lev stood up and looked at Kuroo. "Time to try tough love, I'm gonna need help. Hold him" lev said bending back down, Kuroo sighed "im so sorry kenma" Kuroo said holding the boy still as Lev unbuttoned his pajamas, Kenmas eyes widened as his screaming escalated with tears starting to fall as he tried his best to kick him away. It was no use as Lev managed to take the shirt off, the boy threw himself to the floor refusing to stand anymore. Lev didn't hesitate to quickly slide his pajama pants off, Kenma whined in pain. His rash was very irritated from all the kicking and rubbing of his pajama pants, once his pants were off his screams slowly turned to heavy pants as he kept his gaze down. "Geez, that hurts just looking at it" Lev said standing up, Kuroo nodded "that's why you need to have a bath, it will make it better." Kuroo said pulling little kenma up to his feet, keeping his gaze to his feet he whined once with a small nod before wiping his eyes. "I got it from here" Kuroo said looking up at Lev, he nodded and walked out the bathroom closing the door. Kenma sighed in relief there was one less person around to stare at him, Kuroo gently took Kenmas boxers off and slipped him into the bath. Kenma let out a small whimper of pain as the fresh rash touched the soapy water, but once in it felt okay again. He sat looking down at the bubbles around him, he wanted to play with the bubbles so badly but stayed still watching them. Kuroo put the cloth in the water and ran it along his back, it made Kenma shiver as it was warm and felt nice. It was nicer than any shower he has had as there was only showers, which was why he was frighten to sit in a bath and he didn't know how to swim but he knew it was safe now. Cleaning the back of Kenmas neck and behind his ears kenma let out a small giggle and pinched his head to his shoulder making Kuroo smile, it was really nice the bath. Kenma softly ran his hand over the top of the bubbles and grabbed into them, he pulled his hand out and saw they stuck to him. It freaked him out a little as he looked around for a place to wipe them off before putting them on Kuroos arm, Kuroo looked down and wiped the bubbles off. "It's okay they make you clean, they won't hurt you" Kuroo explained, kenma stuck to just poking them instead. "Alright all done, time to get out" Kuroo stand standing up, kenma pouted and poked a couple more bubbles before putting his arms up. Kuroo pulled him out and put him on the mat before wrapping him up in a big towel, kenma shivered as it got cold from getting out. "Let's go get you warm" Kuroo said draining the bath, the loud noise of the drain made Kenma quickly grab Kuroos leg and push his face into him. Kuroo looked down and grabbed his hand "sorry bud, it's just draining." Kuroo explained leading the frightened boy to get dressed into some warm clothes.
