"Happy six month Marauder-Versary!"

Elladora was sat at the Gryffindor table with a bow of porridge in front of her and the third Narnia book in hand, immersed in her magical fantasy world where the pages had brought her. At first, she was quite awkward when the boys didn't show up at their usual time, having to sit and look around the hall where multiple people were that she had history with.

Snape, Mulciber, Avery and Regulus were sat with their little posse at the Slytherin table, seemingly not having noticed her sat on her own which she was incredibly grateful for, but it didn't mean that she wasn't still wary.

Ernie was sat further along the Gryffindor table with his friends and all he did when he noticed her was give a small smile before returning to the conversation, whereas Elladora felt a lot more awkward about the whole thing and just lifted her hand up in a lazy wave.

She'd just figured that the boys had slept in and was fully prepared to go up and hit them all with pillows if they weren't awake in time for their next lesson, but when four figures came around her and exclaimed the same thing, she nearly scream but luckily one of them was on the other side of the table so she could see James' face clear as day.

"Happy six month Marauder-Versary!"

They sat all around her with identical large grins, Sirius climbing over the table to sit with James on the other side whilst Peter and Remus sat by either side of her. She looked around at them all before raising an eyebrow in questioning.

"What?"

"Happy six month Marauder-Versary!" They repeated in unison, grabbing their breakfast. It was almost scary how happy they all are, eyes bright and smiles wide.

"Marauder-Versary?"

"Six months ago today." James started dramatically, leaning closer to the group as they did the same so they were all in their usual group huddle. "We approached you in the library."

"Sirius approached me." Elladora pointed out and the boy sat up straighter, smirking at the rest of them. "The rest of you hid behind a bookshelf."

"But we were still there." Peter said, smiling.

Elladora was shocked to say the least. Six months? It felt like less than that but at the same time it felt like so much more. If you had asked her how long she'd known them, the immediate answer would be 'years' when it reality it hadn't even been one. It felt like it though. All those days where she would be sat on her own at breakfast, lunch and dinner for 5 whole years were nothing now and all she could remember were the days where her and the boys got detention for the most stupidest pranks and the most stupidest things.
