Chapter 1

Eric's POV

I'm looking around the bullpen and even though there is no one here it still feels special to me. Suddenly, I hear a little bell, I turn around and there is Nell dressed up in a little elf costume for her Christmas charity for kids. "Wow you look...," I was speechless she was so beautiful, now I feel bad for not saying I would do it with her. "Elfin' "she said finishing my sentence

"Elfin' amazing," I said walking towards her. We stared at each other for a while but then she kissed me 'yes' I thought 'Nell and I finally kissed' not wanting the moment to end I kissed back, but she eventually ran out of breath and stopped the moment. "What was that?" I asked curious, she shrugged and then looked up towards the ceiling, I looked up even more curious only to see we were both under the mistletoe I smiled at her, she started to walk off "you know what... I'm gonna go get my tights," I said rushing to go and get changed "they're called leggings... Oh and don't forget your ears," she said reminding me. I smiled and went and got changed.

Chapter 2

Nell's POV

After three hours of carol singing playing and posing for photos with little kids all night I was exhausted, all thoughts about work and the stresses in life just disappeared. All but one, me kissing Eric in the bullpen was a thought that hadn't left my mind if it wasn't for the mistletoe I wouldn't have been able to hide my feelings from Eric.

However, I don't think Eric feels the same he seemed more shocked then happy which wasn't the reaction I had hoped for. We were driving home and after a long night I was home. Eric like a gentleman got out the car and opened the door for me "thank you," I smiled at my partner, I got out the car and Eric walked me to my front door the walk felt like forever he said nothing the whole ride home and he isn't saying anting to me now. I think I might have weirded him out. At least now I know he doesn't feel the same way about me, I opened the door and walked in I turned around to face him "thanks Eric you've been a big help," I smiled.

I went to close the door but Eric stopped it with his hand. He moved closer to me, we were just centimetres apart now. He grabbed my waist, pulled me closer and kissed me, the next thing I know I pulled him back into my house and closed the door. He gently pushed me up against the wall we stood there for a few seconds making out. I removed his shirt, it wasn't the six pack I'd hoped for but I didn't care. He picked me up and moved us to the bedroom he put me on the bed and paused for a quick breath, he looked at me as if to say are you going to take of your clothes to so I took of my shirt, he smiled and fell into my arms kissing me more, I rubbed my hands through his hair and he slowly removed my leggings, he threw them on the floor I soon did the same with his. We moved forward and under the sheets as it was cold but our rhythm continued.

Chapter 3

Eric's POV

I woke up next to my partner lying next to me, the memories of last night flooded through my mind. I smiled and rolled over I closed my eyes and went back to sleep. About an hour later my phone rang it was a text from Hetty, did she know 'we've got a case Mr. Beale get down here quickly' phew it wasn't about me and Nell I rolled over and saw Nell still asleep I kissed her neck and made my way to her cheeks and then her lips. She started to kiss me and we stopped her eyes fluttered open "we've got a case we need to get down to Ops quickly," I said to her not wanting to move "so I've quickly got to rush home and get changed," I said not wanting to leave Nell

"Oh ok," Nell said looking upset. I got out of her bed and quickly got changed she got dressed into her pyjama's and showed me out I kissed her and was about to leave "I'll pick us up some breakfast on the way," Nell said I smiled

"From Starbucks," I suggested she smiled and nodded at me then she closed the door. No matter what happens we are going to work and I'm gonna make sure of it.
