"Stay where you are!" Caspian yells towards Prunaprismia.
"What are you doing?" she asks as she looks between him and her husband, barely looking at Robin.
"I should think it's obvious, dead." Miraz says, a hint of smugness in his voice. "You know, some might consider this inappropriate behaviour."
"That doesn't seemed to have stopped you." Caspian sneers at Miraz.
Miraz sighs. "But you're not like me, are you? It's sad, the first time you have a backbone, such a waste."
Seemingly out of nowhere, Prunaprismia aims a crowssbow at Caspian. "Put the sword down Caspian, I don't want to do this."
"Neither do I." Robin threatens as she aims her bow at Prunaprismia. Her eyes narrow as the woman doesn't put the crossbow down.
Robin's almost sighs in relief when Susan and Peter enter the room, their weapons ready.
"This used to be a private room." Miraz sneers.
Peter glares at Caspian. "What are you doing? You're supposed to be at the gatehouse."
"No!" Caspian shouts. "Tonight, for once, I want the truth! Did you kill my father?"
"Now we get to it." Miraz grins.
Prunaprismia lowers the crossbow as she looks at her husband. "You told me your brother died in his sleep."
"That was more or less true." Miraz shrugs.
Caspian takes a few steps towards Miraz as he's forced to step back againts the window.
"Did you kill my father?"
"Caspian, this won't make things better!" Robin shouts.
"She's right, Caspian!" Susan adds.
"We telmarines would have nothing had we not taken it. You father knew that as well as anyone." Miraz says.
Prunaprismia lowers her crossbow more. "How could you?"
Miraz glares at her. "For the same reason you will pull that trigger!"
Miraz starts walking forward as Caspian takes a few steps back.
"Stop!" Robin and Susan yell.
"For our son!" Miraz yells. "You must choose! Do you want our child to be king or do you want him to be like Caspian? Fatherless!"
"No!" Prunaprismia shrieks.
She shoots her crossbow and Caspian falls over before it could hit him. Miraz manages to escape through a secret door in the walls.
Bells start ringing as the four run out of the chambers. They run down the halls and Robin takes Caspian's hand when he starts slowing down.
Suddenly Peter runs down a different hall.
"Peter!" Susan yells after him.
"Our army is just outside!" Peter hollers.
Susan, Caspian and Robin run after. They run through the courtyard as Peter manages to kill two telmarine soldiers.
"Ed! Signal the troops!" Peter shouts.
"I'm a little busy right now, Pete!" Edmund yells as he fights a soldier.
"Peter it's too late! We have to call it off while we still can!" Susan yells as Peter tries to open the gates.
"No! I can still do this! Help me!"
Susan, Robin and Caspian run next to Peter and help him turn the wheel that opens the gate.
"Just who exactly are you doing this for, Peter?" Susan snaps at her brother.
They continue to turn the wheel and eventually they manage to open the gate. Almost immediately, narnians run inside, screaming with their weapons ready.
The four quickly join the fight. Nothing could be heard over the yells and screams of pain. The sounds of swords clashing was deafening. Robin slashes at different soldiers until her arms become numb.
Suddenly the gate starts closing. Panic fills Robin as Asterius, a minotaur, runs under the gate and holds it.
"Retreat!" Peter's voice booms off of the walls.
Caspian emerges from the castle with Cornelius, the professor. Robin hops on a horse as she extends a hand towards Caspian who takes it without hesitation. Him and the professor manage to get on the horse as Robin takes off.
Peter is close behind and just as they exit the castle, Asterius collapses and the gates close.
A tear slides down Robin's face as she hears the narnian's screams of pain. She knows she would never forget their screams.
Caspian's arms tighten around her waist as Robin follows Peter on her horse.

kinda short, kinda bad, kinda late kinda lost inspiration for this story but i really want to finish it because i have an interesting plot twist for dawn treader
