Unexpected Actions (ON HOLD)

Chapter 4

~END OF FLASHBACK~

I should think about things I could do in the audition. First of all, I'm not gonna read the audition-scene. Maybe if I only didn't learned it, miss Rogers will faill me already. That would be great! Goodbye tights and hello- I'm not paying attention at all when I walk around the corner and I bumb into something. Or should I say... someone is lying on top off me. I don't even think about gettin' up as I stare at the girl. It's her! The girl who was sitting next to me in the bus. And she is lying on top off me. She opens her eyes and I get lost in them immediately. They're warm brown and so beau-! SHUT UP, MATT! You're going to become insane if you continue dreaming about her. It's just not right! But I can't help it. We are staring at each other for a few moments. A smile is growing on my face and I'm trying to wipe it off. She has a concerned look on her face and I wonder why. And then I realise she is still lying on top off me.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry." She says and tries to stand up, but her feet slips from under her. She closes her eyes and almost fell down again, but I grab her quickly and hold her tight. She opens her eyes again and I can't help it, but her eyes are just so beautiful. And to my dissapointment! she takes a step back and I lose my arms on her.

"I'm so sorry. I should have watched where I was going." She apologizes again.

"Don't be sorry. I wasn't watching either. So, I guess it's both our faults. Agree?" I ask nervous. Why am I nervous? We just bumbed into each other. Thank god, she doesn't notice it.

"Erm, I guess so. Well, bye Matt McAdam." She wispers my name. I want to say she just can call me Matt, but she turns around and runs away, again. Why is she running away from me? Am I that horrid to her? I hope not. Then a memory came to me. Yesterday in the cafetaria, I couldn't stop staring at her. I wasn't even paying attention what one of my friends, Michael, said. Thank god, he didn't notice I was staring at some girl. But she wasn't some girl. There is something about her, but I couldn't get my finger on it. I wanted to know her, yet I knew it was wrong. I am dreaming about a different girl when I have an amazing girlfriend, even though she is avoiding me these last days. And my mind goes back to Lauren. Why is she avoiding me? Did I do something wrong? I want to take her to the movies for a long time, but every time I called her, she hung up on me with some lame excuse. I will just go to her house after the day of tomorrow and ask her. I know tonight isn't a good time, 'cus she has tutoring. And tomorrow I have that stupid audition. I hope everything is okay with Lauren.

~Two days later~

It's two days later and I did my audition... well I should tell you this... There is no chance miss Rogers is going to pass me. And it's also the day she is gonna hang up the castlist. I'm sure I don't have to take a glance at it, because I'm sure off it. There is no way I'm on that list. I lay my hands behind my head and slump into my seat. I will just wait until someone tells me who Romeo plays. I close my eyes and wait for the sleep to take over.

Someone is poking me in the arm and I wake up immediately.

"I'm sorry, mr. McAdam, but I don't toleriate sleeping in my class. But because you got the part I will just let it slip away." I'm finally fully awake and I see miss Rogers standing beside my table.

"I'm sorry, can you repeat that? Something about a part?"

She sighs, but still repeats what she said.

"Congratulations. You are gonna play Romeo!"

"Pardon me? I'm what?" I still heard her, but I just couldn't believe it. Even thought, I tried so hard to screw the audition, I still got the part? What is wrong with her?

"You got-"

"I heard you. I just can't believe it." Miss Rogers looks at me disproving for interrupting her.

"Me either." And that suprised me. She can't believe it either?

"But aren't you supposed to be the one who chooses the cast?"

"Yes, I am, but someone thought it was a good idea to give you the part." She didn't convince me. I bet Dylan was behind this. Maybe, he blackmailed her. Oh great! Just fantastic! But then a thought came to me. Who is playing Juliet? Maybe I know her.

"I'm sorry, miss Rogers. But who is playing Juliet?"

"Ooh. Just this new girl that has joined our classes a couple of days ago. What was her name again? Let me see." She takes a quick glance at her list and then lookes back at me. "Her name is Natalie. Natalie Bones."

Nope, doesn't ring a bell. Maybe she is also new at East High [A/N can't think of anything original sorry]

"So, I will just see you and Natalie tomorrow."

"Wait, what?" I wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying.

She sighs again. "You just don't listen. I said, tomorrow are the first rehearsals between you and Natalie. Be here after school at 4 p.m." She turns and grabs her stuff. "And don't arrive late!" She adds before leaving the classroom.

I hope this nightmare is soon over...

Hi, all you amazing readers! I know, this chapter is a little crappy, but I just wanted to finish it before the new year! I finished it as quick as I could. That's how much I wanted it to publish it!
