“Anna, I know you are capable of taking care of you, but I don’t trust anyone, how can I let you live there all alone in different place, with unknown people, you don’t have anyone who could be there any time for you, I’m just worried about your stay there” came her concern voice, can’t blame her, it’s just the mother her worried for me, It’s not like I’m not worried about it, even I don’t know how I’m gonna survive there.
“Hare Maan, don’t worry about it, I already made arrangement for her stay, she gonna stay with my best friend Kalyani” did I just hear her right, I know who’s Kalyani dadi, I have met her twice with my GF, she’s such a humble and sweet old lady, I know she live in NY, but how can I stay with her.
“GF, you are not kidding right, no offense, but why should I stay with Kalyani dadi, I don’t want to trouble her, GF….” She didn’t let me continue

“Ma, I liked it, Annie, now ball is in your court, decide it, it’s either staying there or here” came her commanding voice, I looked towards my savior, he just shrugged his shoulder saying even he’s with them
Do I have a choice then accepting this, I groan in annoyance.
“Ok, everyone I’ll stay with Kalyani dadi, I’m not going to miss this chance for millions, so it’s decided I go with your decision of staying with dadi, happy now” I told them, they all beamed with happiness knowing now they don’t need to worry about me.
Well if I staying with Kalyani dadi makes them happy, I couldn’t make them sad saying no, their happiness means a lot to me.
“Mom, aren’t you forgetting something more important than this?” I asked her who now was in ninth cloud
“Well how can I forget, the elephant inside your stomach who is right now ravenous waiting to fill it’s appetite”
She said rolling her eyes, did she just say elephant inside my stomach, is she kidding, man I’m a foodie, I live for food, but my stomach is flat, I don’t know I never put up though eat a lot of junks food, not to forget when I’m extreme hungry like right now could finish having six persons meals. . . . . True saying, you never know how time runs when you are with family,
It was soon evening. We spent the most of the day teasing each other, I had already packed my bags for the journey, and mom had given me box to give it to Dadi,
I came to my room after spending my time with my family, I had switched off my phone, I didn’t want to miss my time with my family, I power on my phone only to throw it away, it literally beeped with notification, Jesus, I didn’t know that I became a celebrity, note the sarcasm.
“Hey Killer” came my monster my evil twin voice, I guess he just came now, he had his practical, well some should carry the name right,..

“Get ready killer we are going out, it’s us time”
I raised my brows I know what is going out like, his out is nothing but heading to pub, well see we are totally different, unlike me who just tag with him or you can say forced to go with him, it’s just I’m not a party person, I’m more of wanderer.
“Aren’t you studying medicine, I wonder what kind of Doc you will be in future, who doesn’t even know alcohol is injurious to health”
Like I said someone need to carry the family name, my family is filed with Doc’s except me, and I know everything means everything, he filled me all the details, trust me he’s worse than girls in gossiping about you know what I mean….

“There you go that’s my babe, lets rock it babe, let’s set the atmosphere on fire” came his enthusiastic voice.
Let me tell you we are each other BFF’s, we never behaved like brother and sister though we fight like one, we treat each other like friends, rather say he’s my only friend. . . . . We reached the pub in no time, and had our shots, like he said we literally set the atmosphere on fire with our moves, well we both are incredible singers and love to dance. Luckily we both were not high this time, instead of home he bought me to our secrete place, we usually come here at night watch the city, sit in silent watching the starts and sky, we talk a lot here, this place holds all our memories
“You going to miss me right”, I asked him,
“Me going to miss you, no way, I’m the happiest man right now, who’ll be free from your pranks, I don’t even miss you a bit okay, don’t give so much importance to yourself killer” well I kind of guessed it and I know what’ll come next
There was a huge pregnant pause, and then I heard him say
“I’ll miss you Killer”, didn’t I say, I knew it, we may mock, fight, call by names at end of the day we are twins, who was never separated I chuckled and told him the same thing, which I told to mom in morning.
“Well don’t get into trouble, I’ll not be there to protect you, and don’t you dare to go out with any guy for pub, it’s only me who could take you, and please use protection if you do any hanky panky, I’m just too young to be called as uncle”
“What the fuck”…. He didn’t let me finish it
“Exactly don’t do that” is he serious
We both started to fight and at last screamed on top of our voice, NY get ready,..
