CHAPTER 30

Alexis P.O.V
It was time for our exams which we had maths first. The invigilator shared our scripts and said

"You can start, you have an hour for this exam"

I started and it was so easy

"Alexis"Brittany whispered

"Yes what"i answered

"You girls should be careful"he said referring to me and Brittany

I answered Brittany and others that called me.

Few minutes later,i submitted

It was now time for lunch when Brittany caught up with me and said

"How was the exam"

"It was good,you"i said

"It was okay"she said

After all our exams i went home to meet my mom since she had come back.

"Hey mom"i said

"Hey"she said

I was about going when a man came out from the kitchen.

"Hey, Alexis right"he said

"Yes and who are you"i asked

"Well you see my dear he is your dad,we've gotten married when i travelled for my business,i met him and he is a really nice guy"she said pecking his cheek.

I smiled and said"finally mom,you moved on,i'm happy for you"

"What happened to dad,you said you have everything under control, so how"i asked

"I don't know how he got my number but he did,so he called me and started saying nasty things..i already knew he was going to come for you,so when he kidnapped you i was the one who called him and told him to come over and see me,when he came he wanted to hit me because i got remarried,he was not aware of the fact that there were police everywhere at that time,he managed to punch me in my stomach and then the police came out and took him"she said almost out of breath.

"Woah,thank goodness he has been arrested"i said

"Hey,how about you and Ashton"she asked

I explained how it started to her and everything and she said

"Awwwnn,my baby is growing up so fast"

I smiled leaving them alone and went to my room. I called Ashton and told him what happened and he was happy saying he will come over to greet my step dad.

I went downstairs to eat but my mom and dad were making out

"Ewww,go to the room"i said smiling

We all sat down for dinner when my dad said

"Your mother talks about you a lot and i can see that all she has said is true"

"How old are you"he asked

"20years"i said

We chatted for a while longer before we went to our various rooms
