C3 My Reason for Marrying You

Start from the beginning

(T/N based on his age I'm only guessing that he's only in his residency?? or is the author just like naw he's a genius genius)

The more Xia Feng listened to her, the darker his face became: "According to all that, more than half of our hospital is eligible!"

Yu Dong shook her head in disapproval and insisted: "None of them are you. I only like you!"

Unexpectedly he was confessed to. Xia Feng's face became red again, and he decided that now might be the time to retreat.

"We'll go see my parents at 10 a.m. tomorrow."

Yu Dong saw Xia Feng escape and couldn't help but cover her smiling mouth. She never thought that this great person's face was so thin ten years ago, ah.

(T/N: having a thick face is called being shameless so having a thin face is the opposite.)

Next Day

One of the great benefits of summer in addition to the warm weather was that almost every summer morning would be beautiful.

Yu Dong pulled back the curtains to let the sunlight come through the windowsill. Hugging her legs while comfortably sitting on the windowpane, she couldn't help but think that the greenery of this apartment complex was very good.

There were areas of lush greenery all over the front of the complex. Downstairs there was a colorful garden. Many elderly people were doing morning exercises with their grandchildren. She could see the Huangpu River in the distance, with many people jogging alongside it this morning.

While Yu Dong went to the bathroom to wash her face, Xia Feng who went on an early morning run came back and happened to bring breakfast with him.

"Have you woken up? Come over and have breakfast!" Xia Feng said while settling the plastic on the table. "You can eat first; I'm going to take a shower."

When Xia Feng finished his shower and came back, she had already eaten a bun, a fritter and had greasy hands as she drank the soy milk.

Xia Feng's cleanliness gave him a compulsive urge and with a frown said, "Why didn't you use some cutlery?"

"There are paper bags; why would I need to use cutlery when I'd just have to wash them after?"

Xia Feng had no way of refuting this kind of logic.

If he went to the kitchen now to bring back a plate would he look pretentious?

Yu Dong had no knowledge of his inner conflicts. After eating the last bun, she threw out the plastic bag and soy milk cup into the trash can and with a clap of her hands said: "I'm going to change clothes, go ahead and eat slowly."

Xia Feng nodded, and when Yu Dong left the room, figuring that she shouldn't return in a while, silently went into the kitchen to grab some cutlery. After eating quickly, he washed off the dishes.

Yu Dong didn't bring many clothes with her when she eloped. After sorting out her jeans and short skirts, she was left with two skirts, a floral skirt and a knee-length white skirt.

Yu Dong then, at last, decided on the white one, as it looked pure and made her well-behaved, something the elders should like.

After getting dressed, she started on her makeup. Looking at the mirror, Yu Dong once again lamented that young people had such good skin. There was almost no need to put on foundation, but to make her face look natural and bright, she wiped a little BB cream with sunscreen. Then she swept her eyebrows and put on a bit of eyeliner finally finishing with a light-colored lipstick.
