Harrys POV

It was a Wednesday the second time it happened. Two days before my eighteenth birthday to be more specific. I know it was only a dream but I really hoped Peter Pan or Louis as he said his name was, would show up and take me away to Neverland.

My sister was gonna be coming home from college tonight so she would be here to celebrate my birthday with the family. I personally thought it was really stupid. My sister doesn't give two shits about me and acts like she knows everything there is to know in the world. I'm not sure why she wants to be here for my birthday, she hasn't talked to me in two months. The last time we talked was on the phone and she told me I was a stuck up brat that needed to grow up. All I had said to her was that I was kinda upset mum wouldn't let me go see a movie with my friends, not sure why that made me a brat.

On the other hand she also knows nothing about me, I mean nobody in my family really knows me but I try not to think about that much.

You see all my friends know I'm gay. My entire school pretty much knows I'm gay. I used to bring my boyfriend Dylan over all the time but mum never even noticed, she thought we were just friends. That was two years ago, I haven't had a boyfriend since. Gemma always asks when she calls now if I've got a girlfriend yet. Of course I don't, but it makes me angry that they never listened to me when I would try to talk to the about that kinda stuff, so I always just tell her no. If she wouldn't listen before when I decided I was ready to tell her then why should I waste my breath telling her now. The feeling is almost like if I called her up and asked her if she had a girlfriend yet. I mean she never had to announce that she likes boys so why should I?

I was distracted from my thoughts by a raindrop hitting my forehead. I was currently outside walking home from school. Of course it would be just my luck that a downpour would start now, like c'mon I'm almost home. I started to jog the rest of the way there. When I finally arrived I ran up the front steps of my porch and went to open my door. I tried, and I tried, but it was locked. I shrugged my bag off my shoulder searching frantically for the house key I sometimes carry with me. Of course I didn't have it, I should have brought it I'm so stupid. I remember my mom telling me she wasn't getting off work till 9 tonight and was then immediately going to the airport to pick up Gemma, making her time of getting back home around midnight.

I sighed and leaned my back up against my front door knowing I wasn't gonna be getting in anytime soon.

!BANG!

I was startled awake by a loud noise.

"Is someone there?" I yelled out. No answer.

"Hello? Is somebody out there?" I tried again.

"Hi."

I screamed turning the opposite way to see who had just spoken to me. I was suddenly met with familiar blue eyes.

"Peter Pan." I muttered.

"This again, I thought I told you last time my name is Louis." The boy said in a beautiful accent.

"Where are you from?" I asked him, curious about his accent.

"What do you mean? Neverland of course, I thought you already knew that. You're very strange." He laughed towards the end.

"No I mean where from England? You couldn't have lived in Neverland your entire life." I insisted.

"Ugh, fine I used to live in Doncaster." He seemed upset with having to talk about it.

"I've been there! It's really nice why would you want to leave?" I asked confused.

"I wanted to leave for the same reason you do. You feel like nobody around here understands you and you never want to grow up and be an adult." He told me, saying the word adult liked with hate.

"Oh yeah, you're right." I sighed. "I wish you were really here and I wasn't just dreaming. It's very upsetting."

"Harry, this isn't a dream. One day you'll believe me. Whether that day be tomorrow or some random day in Neverland, you will realise you're not dreaming." He seemed persistent. I pulled out my phone checking the time; 11:50. Hmm mum and Gemma will be here any minute.

Just as I thought those words I looked up seeing her car pulling into the driveway.

"Hey Louis- Louis?" I looked around but I didn't see the feathery haired boy anywhere. I was hallucinating or something, had to have been.

"Harry?!?! What the hell are you doing sitting out here in this weather?!" My mother yelled, hurrying towards me followed by Gemma.

"I forgot my key so I've been locked out." I told her.

"Oh my poor baby lets get you inside and warm you up. Your lips are blue for goodness sakes." She said hurriedly helping me up and unlocking the door.

When she was wrapping me up in many blankets and bringing me soup in bed I couldn't help but stare out my window.

Where did Louis go? Was I really hallucinating? I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
