Lance is a member of the Atlantian supreme court. His family is a rich one living at the top of the reef near the surface.

Lances POV ~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm sitting through another boring meeting with the court. I really am thankful for my job but I need more than this. I want love and romance and Friendship. Not meeting day in and day out with the stupid supreame court. (Time skip brought to you by my FAT ASS) After the meeting I decided to take the long way home. Through the reef and I like to pick up shells on the way. I have a house with my mom dad and three siblings. My older sister Veronica my younger sister Wendy and my younger brother Tatum.

We have a large house near the surface. One of my favorite things to do Is go and sunbath on the surface it's amazing.
How the sun soaks into my scales
How it warms my face.
I can't help but rush up the the surface and float. Of coarse I'm dreaming about when I find the perfect mate. A nice tall man or woman with dark hair dark eyes. I can't help but picture a face that has been in my dreams for the past few days. Black hair. Purple eyes like amethysts. But one thing always gets me about him. He has wings.
I don't know maybe it's just my imagination. From what I can remember black winged angels have gone extinct.
I stay floating in the water and sunshine. Gulls pass over my head. And I see small fish swimming at the surface.
Then I see a swipe of black cross the sky but it was to big to be a bird it has to be something else.
It swiped down revealing itself to me.
A black winged angel.
With dark hair.
And amethyst eyes.
Oh Christ.
I swim over to a small group of rocks and sit with my tail still in the water slightly.
He lands next to me his wings are longer then me! "Hey would you happen to know what direction I need to fly to get to land?"
I point north that's we're the nearest dock is. "Thanks. I'm Keith by the way. I've never met a merman before?" "H-Hello I'm lance. I've never met an angel before." Keith looked surprised his eyes widens and he flinched just a bit. He was very handsome. His eyes were even more sparkly than in my dreams. "Your scales are a very pretty color, very shiny." I was very happy at the compliment even though i get them all the time. "Thank you! I try to keep them in shape."
"Sorry for having to leave so soon but do you want to meet up here tonight?" My heart flutters at the invitation. he was asking me to meet him here TONIGHT?! "Yes! That would be wonderful." "Alright 10:00 here tonight. See ya later then"
I swam home as fast as my fins could take me. I burst through the door and swam up to my room. 💗💗💗💗💗 Oh geeze my heart was going crazy.

I quickly got out my best jewelry. A gold ear peice with sapphires. Some gold bracelets. A lovely gold fin chain. I wanted to look my best for him. Ahhhh I can't wait for tonight.
