Prologue

"Shu-kun, there's a guest that's looking for you,"

Yui said as he looked at her with a scowl, telling her to bring the guest as he looked the person with mouth slightly agape.

"Why are you here.."

He hushed in silent, telling Yui to call everyone to gather in the main hall as Shu walked to me, clasping my hands and nuzzling against my shoulder.

"I was told to come here,"

I smiled, wrapping my arms around his waist, caressing his back gently with the tips of my fingers as I began to hear the others' comments that came out one by one.

Looking at my naked shoulders, Shu placed over his cardigan to cover it as he seated me down on the couch in the main hall.

Smiling slightly at me, Kanato held out Teddy with his arms wide open, wrapping it around my neck before Kanato gave me a short embrace.

"It's been a while, I thought you'd never come back,"

He muttered, sitting down on the floor as he laid his head against my thighs as I caressed his hairs gently, trying not to disturb his serene self.

"But, I'm here, no?"

I replied before the other boys nodded lightly, agreeing with my point before Reiji stepped out and repositioned his glasses.

"Are you tired? I'll have the maids to prepare for your room and have your clothes changed,"

He said, coughing a bit into his fist, noticing my semi transparent shirt because of the rain outside that began to seep into Shu's cardigan.

"It's alright, I'm here just to check on you all. I'll take my leave now-"

"Nonsense!"

Ayato bursted out, making me almost jolted out from the couch and startled Kanato, who shifted slightly against my skin.

"Ayato, don't make a ruckus for Bridgette here,"

Subaru protested before he glanced at Kanato with cold gaze, piercing it through his spine and making him looked at Subaru with irritated expression.

"And you, don't give her any problems. She must be tired, so get off,"

He continued, making Kanato grumbled under his breath before I caressed his cheek gently, smiling at him nuzzled my palm.

"Subaru, it's alright, don't be harsh to him,"

I sighed, making him flustered while trying to justify himself as the others began to poke in him lightly to make the tension lessened.

"Ano, Brigette-sama, right?"

She called, whispering the last part gently as I nodded, looking at her expectantly to hear another question out of her lips.

"Yes, what is it?"

"If you don't mind, you can change your clothes with mine for a while.."

She whispered slightly as Ayato proceeded to pick on her, making fun of her size by comparing both of us in the process.

"Bridgette's more developed and curvy body than you, pancake,"

He teased, flicking his pointing finger against her forehead as I looked at him sternly before called out his name.

"Ayato Sakamaki, leave her alone,"

I glared as he gulped down his saliva, muttering an apology under his breath as Yui looked at me with a smile.
