Within seconds Jung Kook's eyes are on me as he clenches his jaw for an unknown reason.Then his cousin turns to look at me something passing her eyes but it disappears quickly .
"Don't you miss me ? " she asks while pouting
"Not quite " he says after clearing his throat
"How come ? You should miss me " she says still pouting showing off her big lips on purpose
"I'd rather not "he replied a small smile coming on his face and she doesn't seem to bother anyway .
Without me realising I manage to let out a chuckle which immediately catches Jung Kooks attention. Then he walks towards me placing his hand at the small of my waist , earning a look from his cousin — the royal guest.
"Yuna this is my fiancée , Lisa " he says looking down at me .
She eyes me up and down before her lips curve into a small smile and extends her hand to shake mine
"It's a pleasure meeting you Lisa " she says pulling back and looking at Jung Kook
"Likewise "I mutter
Yuna starts walking with the queen inside the palace , heels clicking on to the ground bothering my ears . Jung kook continues to stand beside me as we both watch the servants walking in— leaving us outside.
I realise that Jung kook's hand is still on the small of my back before he starts to lean in near my near "you don't like her " he mutters
"What makes you think so ? " I questioned, turning to look at him
Once I face him , I am surprised to see his doe like eyes sparkling in the sunlight turning a shade lighter , turning his hair lighter too . Making him look gorgeously beautiful.
He doesn't seem to realise that I am looking at him with full awe , feeling attracted as he clears his throat before looking around.
" I don't think so , I know so " he replies
"Who are you ? Einstein? " I ask tiptoeing— nearing our faces together but he chuckles , pushes me back by my shoulder, making me drop back to my feet .
"Don't worry, I am not fond of her too "he says "she annoys me for some reason and I don't like that . Unfortunately I cannot show it but trust me , I would if I can " then he makes his way inside the palace with me trailing behind him
Jung kook and I walk side by side , eyeing Yuna and the queen knowing that they would be talking about something we wouldn't be bothered about. If only mom was here , she is the only person other than Rose that I trust to pour my secrets in . She won't back too Gangnam to settle a few things with my dad . She will be here when the wedding date has been set .
Yuna turns around, looking at us . Immediately making us stop . I clear my throat waiting for her to come near us , "it'd be lovely if Jung kook showed me around " she says smiling seductively
"And why would I show you around?" He asks
"Oh silly , the last time I was here we were both children "she replies , glancing at me for a few seconds before placing her hand on the side of his cheek .
Jung kook removes her hand with a smile on his face "unfortunately , I have things to do it'd would be better if you showed yourself around " he says earning a chuckle from his mother
"You are boring as usual " she replies while pouting
"I've never been fun " he says before walking towards the stairs not sparing a glance to both Yuna and I .
The queens eyes widen before walking towards me "we shall talk about your engagement party with Jung kook, Lisa come let's discuss " she gestures me to one of the rooms
Apparently it's not only me but Yuna seems to be trailing behind us . We are sitting at the nearest table as the queen gestures one of the servants to get some tea .
