Chapter 12: The Broken Seal

"oh the great Uchiha needs my help" Aika teases

"oh shut up" Sasuke looks annoyed then at Haku "Aika!"

Haku was getting ready to attack, Aika and Sasuke quickly used fireball jutsu again. Naruto ran towards the mirrors but was pushed back. He quickly got back up so Haku headed towards him. Aika and Sasuke once again used fireball jutzu and once again Haku dodged, he threw a needle at Sasuke's shoulder and smacked away Naruto. 

"Are you two ok?!" Aika asks worriedly

"I'm fine" Naruto tells her as he stands up

Sasuke looks at him ""That was good Naruto, do it again"

"He can't do it again!" Aika shouts "Big brother's chakra is running low, let me do it I've got plenty of chakra"

"Aika Haku is becoming slower" Sasuke looks at her "We can hit him this time"

"No sweat little sis I got this, just make sure to get him" Naruto pats her on the back

Sasuke stares at Aika 'her eyes are blue, her kekkei genkai isn't activated, we could really use it right now'

Both Naruto and Sasuke ran but Haku threw needles that went through Sasuke's leg and other parts. 

"Sasuke!" Aika shouts

Naruto was pierced as well.

"Naruto!" Aika shouts and suddenly falls to her knees "ah!"

Aika felt pain in her legs, she looked down and saw needles through her with blood running down. They heard Sakura scream.

"S-Sakura..She's...in trouble.." Naruto mutters as he stands up

"Naruto don't get up!" Aika shouts "you're hurt badly"

"I have to do something" Naruto looks at her "they're in danger!"

Naruto runs at Haku but is striked down by more needles.

"Naruto stop!" Aika shouts

'you're still too weak'

Aika's eyes widen, as needles were thrown her in direction Sasuke quickly used another needle to deflect them

"Snap out of it idiot" Sasuke grabs her shoulders and shakes her violently

"s-sorry" Aika pushes his hands off her and stands up

The group continues to continuously attack Haku with no luck. Naruto and Sasuke were almost at their limit, even Aika's fire clones were no match for Haku and his mirrors. Soon enough Naruto looks like he reached his limit, and he fell back onto the ground.

"Naruto!" Aika runs to him "big brother don't pass out on us!"

"What a shame" Haku says "it seems like this is all you three have to offer, I admit you've all impressed me with your moves, such a pity"

Haku throws needles towards Naruto and Aika, Aika hugs Naruto's body as Sasuke quickly deflected them.

"Protecting that girl will only slow you down" Haku says

"that may be true, but regardless I'll still protect this airhead with my life" Sasuke retorts

"Sasuke.." Aika looks at him and gasps when she sees he's unlocked his sharingan 'to think I actually thought I was getting stronger.. in the end I'm still being protected by these two'

"Even though this is the first stage of the sharingan, its still good enough to see through his tricks" Sasuke tells her

"hmph" Haku jumps from his mirror

Sasuke readies himself but is surprised when Haku goes right passed him.

"Aika!" Sasuke shouts

Aika quickly hugs Naruto's body and closes her eyes, ready for the impact, but nothing happens. Aika slowly opens her eyes to see Sasuke standing in front of her and Naruto.

"Sasuke.." Aika lets go of Naruto

"You two always get in the way.." she heard Sasuke say before he collapsed to the ground

Sasuke was completely covered in needles and his blood.

"Sasuke!" Aika shouts quickly moving to him "Sasuke!"

"You idiot!" Naruto shouts as he gripped his chest in pain

"I told you protecting that girl would slow you down" Haku speaks from his mirror

"Why would you do that Sasuke?!" Aika shouts as tears fall from her eyes

"heh.. you dummy.." Sasuke mutters "if I don't protect you.. who will.."

"I didn't ask you to!" Aika shouts "I never asked for your protection!"

"He's out there.. My brother.. I promised myself.. I'd stay alive until I killed him.." Sasuke lifted his arm up towards Aika's face "A-Aika.. N-Naruto.. don't die.." Sasuke's arm fell down and his eyes closed

"Sasuke!" Aika shouts grabbing his arm

"damn it!" Naruto shouts as he gets up slowly "damn it! damn it! damn it!"

Aika held onto Sasuke's arm and cried her eyes out.

"He found a strength he didn't realize he had. Why? Because of two people who were precious to him. To save them, he rushed in knowing it was a trap. He was a true ninja. Worthy of honor. Is this the first time you two have seen a friend die in battle? This is a part of what it means to be a ninja" Haku spoke

"Shut up!" Naruto growls "You think Aika's okay with him getting honor of being a ninja? Are you blind? Don't you see her tears?! You killed Sasuke and made Aika cry!! You'll pay for this!" An immense amount of chakra surrounded Naruto and he began to look like an animal with red eyes and fangs "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"
