Alex's POV
I cant believe that Willie is alive now.
Does this mean that we can finally be in a relationship?? I hope so.
"Hey Alex, you ready?" Luke says walking into my room.
"Yea." I said getting up. The guys and I had job interviews at this coffee shop. Willie worked there. I guess once he left from our New Years party, he went straight to job hunting.
"Reggies already outside." Luke said turning around while walking out the door.
"Alright." I said following him.
Once we get to the coffee shop I see Willie at the counter.
"Hey guys!" He said noticing us.
"Hi." We all say walking up to him.
"I'm actually gonna "interview you"." He says doing quotes when he says interview you.
"Oh ok." Reggie says.
Everything was pretty simple so the interview wasn't too long. Willie just showed us how to make some different types of coffee.
"Ok well y'all can start, I have my break right now." Willie says taking his apron off.
"Wait uh Willie? Could I talk to you?" I ask him.
"Sure." He says.
"Well uhm, I'm just gonna get this off my chest." I say nervously looking into his eyes.
"Go for it." He says.
"Um well.. I uh like you.. like really like you.." I stutter. He sits there and just smiles.
"I really like you too, Alex." He says.
"Wait. Really?!" I ask eagerly.
"Yea, I have ever since we bumped into each other for the first time." He says.
"Me too." I say. We look into each other's eyes until he starts to lean in. He gently places his lips on mine, and I'm like totally freaking out on the inside but I try to keep cool on the outside.
"Ale-" Reggie says as I jerk my head towards him and he freezes. "Was I ruining something?" He asks embarrassed.
"Um." I say blushing like crazy.
"Um, kinda but everything ok over there?" Willie asks.
"Luke doesn't know how to work the machine." He says. I roll my eyes getting up.
"Alex uh how do you work this thing?" Luke says pointing at the machine. I walk up to the machine and press the power button.
"Ohhhhh." He says.
"You're so dumb." I say rolling my eyes at him.
".... I didn't see it.." he says embarrassed.
"You sure you want this job?" I ask.
"Um not really, I mean I want a job, but not one making coffee. I don't even like coffee!" He says.
"Well ok then, we'll try to find you a different job." I say.
"Ok imma tell Willie that I'm gonna go." He says.
"Bye." I say waving.
"Bye." He says walking off.
"Well Reg? You still want this job don't you?" I ask looking over at Reggie who was trying to work the machine.
"Idk this thing is really confusing." He says.
