"What?" I answered as I sipped on my cup of coffee.
"Aren't you dating anyone right now? I mean don't you think it's time for you to start dating? We've been friends for a long time yet you haven't introduced me to someone you liked." She chuckled.
I was taken aback.
"Oh no. Don't you even tell me that you like me, Cha Eunwoo. You know that's not gonna work." She gasped and it was obvious that she was joking.
"Stupid. Why would I even like you. Are you dreaming?" I looked away and she chuckled.
"I know. I know that you won't like a woman like me. You deserve someone better and I'm hoping you could find and have her soon." She smiled.
I was broken upon hearing those words from her.
How can I even have her when she's already taken?...I thought to myself.
"In time. Maybe I can't have her now but who knows? Maybe something great is waiting for us, right?" I answered as I stared at her.
"Ughhh. Too cheesy. But you know what? I agree with you."
"Are you excited to be back in Korea?" I asked.
"I am. Like really reaaally excited! I can't believe I've done it. I can't wait to be home and see Jaemin." She said and her eyes glisten from joy upon mentioning Jaemin's name.
"You look happy, y/n. I'm relieved to know that you are."
She placed her hand on top of mine and smiled.
"Thank you. Thanks for always being there for me since day one. You're a part of me that I can never replace, Eunwoo. I just want you to always remember that."
Yes. I am just a friend that you can never love, probably never will.

"I'll see you, Eunwoo! Take care okay? I'll call once in a while!" I said as I waved at Eunwoo before entering the airport.
I'll be in Korea in a few hours and my heart kept beating so fast because at last, I'll be home.
I'll be home in Jaemin's arm and I can't help but feel giddy inside.
The flight went smoothly as I expected it to be. It didn't took us a while to check out our stuff and I was so happy when I saw Azumi waiting for us in the arrival area.
"Azumi!!" I called as I waved my hand towards the girl who was looked so happy to see me.
I asked her to pick us up today even though my parents didn't want to bother her.
The driver helped us carry our baggage and I hugged Azumi tightly.
"Y/n! Are you freaking crying?!" She said and I bit my lower lip to stop myself from tearing up.
"She must be so happy." My mom said with a chuckle.
Azumi bowed to my parents just to pay respect and mom patted her back.
"Thank you for picking us up today, Azumi. We'll treat you a good meal to return the favor." Dad said with a bright smile and but shyly shook her head.
"No need, sir! I was actually happy to do this anyway. Grandma must be so excited to see all of you." She said and I clung on her arm.
"Do you not have any class at this hour?" My mom asked.
"I have 2 hours vacant, ma'am." She said.
"Hey. Don't call us sir and ma'am anymore. Call us auntie and uncle from now on." Mom said and we giggled.
We went straight to grandma's home since that's where we'll stay while we're in Korea.
"Are you sure grandma has no idea that we'll be home?" I asked Azumi.
"Yes. I'm 100% sure! It was so hard to keep this a secret from everyone, though. But thankfully I managed to keep my mouth shut." Azumi said and I slapped her arm while giggling.
I was so happy to be back home at last. The air is far different and I missed the weather here!
I slowly took my spare key of grandma's house and I was surprised to see the house so quiet.
"Oh. I guess granny went out." I said as I pulled my luggage inside the house.
My parents got inside and they decided to rest because of jetlag.
"Azumi. Thank you so much." I said as I walked her to the door.
She had to leave since she still have 2 classes left. And her vacant time is almost over.
"So you're planning to surprise Jaemin tomorrow?" She asked.
"Yeah. I'm actually planning to visit Jaemin in his condo unit tomorrow morning." I said.
"Gosh. Should I just ditch my classes? It's friday anyway." She pouted.
I flickered her forehead.
"No! Don't skip classes, dumbass." I chuckled and she laughed.
"Fine! I'll see you tomorrow then! I have the entire weekend!!" She said and I gave her a hug.
I checked on my parents and they were already taking a nap.
They probably will wake up around dinner so I decided to unpack my stuff in my room.
Just as Jaemin said the other time, grandma indeed kept my room clean all the time.
"Wow. It's just as if I didn't left. Everything inside my room looks exactly the same." I said.
I suddenly remembered the photo that I always brought with me when I was abroad.
It was a small picture frame with my favorite photo of me and Jaemin in it.
"Let's place you here." I said as I put it on the study table, right beside my lampshade.
I stared at it for a while and smiled.
"Na Jaemin, your sweetheart is finally home."
