The LITTLE problem (A Two-Part Story)

Part 2

Alex, who was noticing those two the whole while as they sipped the mug, softly added turning to Barry,
"Don't you think, those two make a lovely couple?!"
"Um?" Barry added looking up at Alex,
"Look..." Alex gestured him to look at the two,
"well, yeah... I mean," Barry added as he was seeing his two best friends from Alex's point of view, "but, sadly Oliver has Felicity,"
"Well, yeah, but I now wonder if those two ever crushed on each other at some point... I mean I could tell about my sister, even if she did, she will never tell..." Alex replied sipping her mug,
"um, so I could say about Oliver, he will never agree to his feelings... I mean he has a hard time on the island and after that... he is...the man in front of you..." Barry replied,
"Still I feel sorry for him, he doesn't deserve all this...he is a good man," Alex replied,
"Yeah, but what can be done of the worst fate decided for one," Barry sighed and sipped his mug,
"Well, fair point!" Alex added and drowned the remaining coffee,
"Okay, we should leave now, and inquire the hospitals as listed," Barry begin,
"Alright," Alex added and turned to Kara who already heard them and nodded, yeah thanks to her super hearing!
"Okay, so you ready?!" Barry questioned Alex one last time before he holds her and speeds,
"to be honest, Nope! But, we have to do this... so yeah, I'm ready!" Alex replied with truth and Barry nodded, "yeah right!" and put his arm around her waist and the two were gone in a gust of a wind

They begin inquiring from the point they marked, hospitals and nursing homes around that area, to begin with, but no luck, until they got some lead in the last nursing home in that area,
"Great! so, now we know who is the mother... we just need to find the address... wait, I'll inform Kara," Alex added turning to Barry, and he nodded, and Alex than called Kara,
"Hey, Kara... we got a lead... but I think we might need Oliver's help..." Alex added as Kara picked the call, "we might need to use his bunker to locate this woman..." as Alex knew Oliver's bunker had all facilities,
"Alright, I'll inform Oliver..." Kar replied,
"How's the baby?!" Alex questioned,
"He is okay, sleeping... Oliver too laid for a bit," She explained,
"Okay, I'll ask Barry to take us there, let him rest, I can tell he had a long  day," Alex could understand that Oliver was human,
"Yeah, sure....and Thanks Alex, and when you find the address of this woman, inform me," Kara replied on the phone,
"You count on it Sis!" Alex added and cut the call, and turning to Barry, she added,
"Okay, Oliver is resting, but Kara will let him know... that we are in his bunker,"
"Alright, Hold on!" Barry added as before, he put his arm around her waist and the two speeded to the bunker

After reaching there, the two used the face recognition algorithm to track the woman from the photo they got from the CCTV of the nursing home and found the address, but after checking they found that the home was empty and nobody was present there,
"yup, great, another dead end!" Alex sighed, and Barry who was looking around, eyes caught a view of city CCTV on the streets, and he begins,
"Not if we use the CCTV of the streets, I mean, when she got to Oliver's place, she must have gone by some way, she can't disappear in the thin air,"
"Right! why haven't we thought of this before?!" Alex sighed as it would have saved a lot of their work,
"Well, now that we got that idea, let's hit it!" Barry replied as it wasn't the best time to regret,
"Yeah, right, let's get back to the bunker and check," Alex added and Barry nodded and without further explanation, he caught her once again and speeded off, heading to the bunker

The two as decided, begin checking all the CCTV footage of the time mentioned by Oliver that he found the Baby, beginning from an hour before it, and at last, it worked!
"Bingo! we got her....there she is... going to Oliver's home and leaving.... and her behavior looks like she was running from someone, but who?!" Alex added as she was watching the footage they found, "dammit! the camera on the side streets is offline..."
"Offline or not, I think we should search the area around, I mean she couldn't go far at this night, maybe she hid somewhere..." Barry explained his thoughts,
"Yeah, but she could go anywhere, hide anywhere...how should we..." Alex was full of doubts,
"Not us, me... I'll alone go this time... and search the places around....no offense, but it's easy for me when I do that alone," Barry explained,
"None was taken, right now I'm okay with any plan that works," Alex replied,
"Alright, you stay here, and I'll be in your ears..." Barry added one last time and Alex nodded as yellow lightning stripes began covering his body and he was gone in a gust of wind

Alex let out a breath and at that moment hoped Barry could find her safely and she could reunite with her baby. Barry on the other side was all suited up and was running across the streets in a trail of yellow lightning that Alex could watch on the screens; it took him a while until he met some success; she was found in the park, sleeping or maybe unconscious under the bench, but didn't respond to Barry's calls,
"Alex, I think I found her," he added via comms, "tho she doesn't look well to me, I'll take her to the city hospital, and then come to get you,"
"Great!" Alex added, "I'll inform Kara and meet you out!" and left the bunker heading out

Alex then informed Kara, and the two along with the Baby headed to the hospital where the mother was, recovering now, and Alex and Barry were with her. On arriving there, the woman saw the baby and cried, "Oh my... Baby!"
and Kara passed the baby to her and watched the two reunite; after a while, Kara's curiosity got out, "I still don't understand, why you left the baby at Oliver's house?!"
"I... I had no option, but if I didnt then my alcoholic and drug addict husband would have sold my child..." She begins explaining as he sobbed,
"what?!" Alex was shocked and so were others,
"yes, he wanted money for his addiction and after I was fired from my job, I had not enough money to give him, and the only option was he could sell my...baby..." she burst into tears holding her child, "and you see now, why I told you two that it's not safe for me here..."
"Hey, you stop crying alright, we'll take care of your husband..." Alex begin placing a hand over her shoulder, and Kara continued, "...and i promise you... he will never bother you two ever again,"
"can you really do that?! I'll be grateful..." the woman questioned those two,
"yes, a promise is a promise..." Kara assured her and gestured the gang to get to the side,
"Okay, let's search that ass now..." Alex added being determined, but Kara begins,
"Ummm...Not you... you already had enough for one night... now it's me and Oliver..." and that brought a smile to Oliver's face, "So, Mr. Queen, shall we? one last mission together until we see each other again?!"
"Hell, why not?!" Oliver was excited,
"Alright, let's suit up!" Kara added excitingly but Oliver was a bit nervous, "and don't worry, I won't drop you when flying," Kara goofily added,
"and I would never choose anyone over you," he replied and Kara smiled,
"anyways, you two stay here, we got a task to do..."Kara added turning to Barry and her sister and the two understood, it's better that they let them, "alright, stay safe you two..." Alex added,
"we will...and you two!" Kara replied and smilingly, those two left the room.
