Asteroth Ne Riddle

Chapter 1

16 years later

A rapping knock on the door forced the sixteen year old girl to unbury her head from the pile of blankets as she begrudgingly flicked her wrist, opening a crack in the door, wide enough for the small house elf to step into the dark room.

Elodie the small house elf quivered as she noticed the tiger-size, grey wolf lifting his paw and casting his hungry eyes at the small creature. She cried out in fear "E-Elodie came to wake up the miss" the house elf yelped as the animal swiped his sharp claws at her. "M-M-MISS ASTEROTH"

The girl on the bed growled as she sat up, revealing obsidian black eyes, she leaned against the bed post tiredly and reprimanded her companion harshly "Lucifer stop" she lowly commanded "I am in no mood to deal with your shit right now" the wolf growled before settling back down onto the burgundy colored carpet.

Elodie let out a relieved sigh as she helped her master out of bed. Sarina stifled a yawn as she pulled on the black robes Elodie laid out for her and signaled for the house elf to stop her agressive brushing as her silver hair piled neatly over her shoulders.

Sarina took her time heading to the dining room as Elodie trailed behind her, reminding her of her schedule for the duration of the day.
"Are my brothers already at breakfast?" She asked the small elf. "Yes, yes, the masters are already having breakfast". She silently pushed open the wooden doors to reveal the long table laid with delicious breakfast delicasies with fresh lilies plucked into tall glass vases and surely enough her two brothers sat at the table. The two seemingly engrossed in the conversation they were having.

Amaros was the first to notice her arrival as he cracked a smile "Rina, good morning!" Xiden, her oldest brother glanced up at her and offered her a small smile. She tiredly sat down beside Amaros as a house elf came and poured her a cup or earl grey tea. "Morning Aros" she greeted him curtly as she filled her plate with toast and jam.

Xiden looks up from his papers, a cup of steaming Assam tea lightly interwined in his fingers "Rina, this afternoon I'll need you in my room." She glanced up from her toast casting him a questioning look. Xiden ran his fingers through his silver hair wearily "I need you to do me a favor... of some sort''. Amaros looked up interested, his eyes twinkling madly "Xiden" he whined "How come you're only inviting Rina and not me" a little pout appeared on his handsome face. Sarina muffled a chuckle as Xiden blantedly ignored his dramatics and signaled for the butler.

Charles appeared beside the heir of the Asteroth manor, waiting for his orders. Xiden stood up from his seat, his daily phrophet tucked neatly in his hands as he left the two siblings to finish their meal.

Amaros rolled his eyes and slumped against his seat as Sarina continued to eat from her plate, but constatly glancing up to see her brother staring at her with no shame whatsoever. She looked away audaciously "What is it you want Aros" she sighed as the silver-hair boy leaned his face against his hands and pouted "Why did Xiden left me out" he whined "I was looking forward to testing out my new inventions" he muttered nonchantly as she rolled her eyes, knowing the exact reason why her brother was getting excluded "Aros don't you remember what happened to the last guy Xiden brought in".

"I was OVER ENTHUSIASTIC, so what"
"Well see how that ended" she gloated as the last guy Xiden had asked Amaros to interrogate ended up dead from one of his curses before he could garner any information out of the lad. Amaros sighed and stood up from his seat before escorting Sarina to the library for her study session.

"Have fun Rina" Amaros gently ruffled his sister's silk hair as he turned around to come face to face with her professor "Hey watch it" he growled lowly as the man quivered before shakingly bowing to her brother "I-I apologise Mr. Asteroth". Amaros ignored the man and left closing the door with a soft click, signaling the start of her lessons.

Sarina stretched her joints blearily as being cooped up in the library for three long hours had done no good to her body. She started heading to her room to change as Lucifer flicked his grey tail lazily behind her. She absentmindedly stroked his soft fur, the large wolf letting out a low growl.

Once she got to her room, she instantly saw the small pieces of clothing Charles had placed neatly on the end of her bed. She skimmed through the clothings as Lucifer settled down on her bed, resting his snout on his paw as he watched Sarina get into her character.

The short satin red dress clung onto her hourglass body, making her curves and essets more prominant, along with a pair of silver heels complimenting her hair and makeup with the help of Elodie.

Sarina stared in disgust as she thought of what she'll had to do in this get up.
Charles came and led her to Xiden's office, knocking before letting her into the room. Her brother sat behind his desk, his white t shirt clung loosly onto his body, showing his muscles as he looked up from his documents "So what is it you want me to do?" He flicked his hand and cast a wandless spell, changing her silver hair to a pale blond "perfect" he muttered and beckoned her over beside him "Rina, we'll be having an important guest coming over" he explained "I want you to gain access to an invitation for a pureblood gathering happening this week" 

Sarina nodded understandingly but gloaded at her brother "And what is it with this get up dearest brother?". Xiden sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose, looking away "Believe me I did not want you to appear like this to any other male either but Charles convinced me saying it was the best way to get access to the party invitations." Before she could snap at him Charles voice could be heard through the doors "Master. Mr. Selwyn is here". Xiden glanced at Sarina while at the same time putting on his mask, his eyes turning a dull shade of blue "Bring him in"
