"Jirou, I'm so sorry, I didn't think through what I was saying. I can cancel it if you want me too." You looked up at her slowly, hoping she wouldn't be upset with you.

She smiled, but you could see a bit of sadness in her eyes, "It's fine, trust me, I was planning on giving up on him anyway." She looked away a moment and then looked back at you with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Keep the date, make Bakugou feel the burn of jealousy a bit longer."

"Jealousy? What are you going on about?"

She flicked your forehead. "Isn't it obvious? He saw you gushing over Shinso and that's why he got so angry. I'm not saying it's justified, because it's not, he should have talked to you about it like he wants to now. So, go out, and if he so happens to find out what your doing, so be it." She shrugged.

You sat there a moment, lost in your thoughts. She had a point but was going about it this way really the right call? Your anger resurfaced at the thought of what he had said, even if it wasn't the right call you didn't really care.

Heading back to your room you grabbed some clothes and rejoined Jirou in her dorm. She helped you get ready; you really didn't want to be alone anymore, so you were glad to have her around. It was getting close to 6 so you hugged Jirou, thanking her for being there for you and made your way downstairs.

You found Denki waiting for you at one of the couches. He looked up at you when he heard you approaching.

Giving you a dazzling smile, he asked, "Ready to go?"

*Bakugou's POV*

He had made his way up to his dorm. Seething with anger he checked his phone; his message had been read and ignored. He stormed down the hall and could see Kiri standing at Kaminari's door. He didn't mean to, but he could overhear their conversation as he walked by.

"She really said yes?!" He could hear the excitement in Kaminari's voice as he spoke to Kiri.

What. The. Fuck.

She was going to ignore him, but she would say yes to go out with dunce face. He walked to his room swinging the door open and slamming it shut behind him. The sound loud enough to make a few people jump in surprise. Standing in the middle of his room he tried to get a grip on his emotions, but it was futile.

Being vulnerable and letting others see his real feelings made him feel weak but it was this moment he wanted nothing more than to talk to Kiri about what was going on. He didn't want Kiri's dumb advice, he didn't want him to feel bad or relate to him, he only needed to vent these emotions, but Kiri was the last person he could go to right now.

Looking around his room he needed a distraction, anything to get his mind off today. He tried everything available to him. Video games only made him angrier and more frustrated. He tried reading but couldn't focus on the words on the page. He even tried to start that stupid essay for Aizawa but he didn't get very far. His mind kept drifting back to her. How hurt she had looked when he couldn't control what he was saying. He knew he was wrong for what he did but he didn't want to feel bad about it. Her date with that extra only proved him right, so why should he feel bad.

Glancing at the clock it was only 5:30. He got up, changed, and headed to the school's weight room. He didn't get to go to the gym this morning because he had slept in. Spending time with her. He figured now was a good time as any to go. Walking through the doors he went right for the free weights. Putting his headphones in, he turned his music up loud.

He stayed there for hours, continuously working trying to put her in the back of his mind or out of it all together. But she kept creeping up. He hated that he had let himself become vulnerable around her, only for things to end up like this. It shouldn't matter if she wanted to fawn over Shinso, it shouldn't matter that she went out with dunce face, it shouldn't matter at all. But it did, and he hated it.

The music in his ears was heavy and angry and it only pushed him to work harder. Frustrated he dropped his weights, moving to the rack to grab something heavier. He was pushing himself to his limit, working till failure. His muscles burned with each rep, but he ignored it, pushing to the next set, until finally his body felt weak and could no longer lift the weights. That was the bad thing about working to get stronger, to be better, you had to work until you felt so weak you couldn't move anymore. While most people liked that feeling, he didn't, he couldn't stand feeling so weak afterward.

He finally stopped, dropping the weights, breathing heavy, the music blaring in his ears. He couldn't say that he felt any better than before, but he didn't feel as tense. His mind was still in battle with itself not sure about how he should feel or what he should do. He made his way back to the dorm, showering not just to rinse off the sweat but to clear his head, the water so hot it probably burned.

He went back to his room and stood there. Looking at his clock it was almost 8:30, she had to be back by now. He stood another moment contemplating if this is what he wanted to do, and he let out a sigh and went to her dorm.

Knocking on the door there was no answer, he should have figure. He opened the door, but only found that the room was dark and empty. Suddenly he heard sounds coming from the hall, like two people talking. He quickly stepped into her room letting the door shut behind him.

*Your POV*

Denki had decided to take you to a movie. He'd got you popcorn and snacks and you both walked into the theater going to pick your seats. You weren't really sure what you were going to watch, you hadn't paid much attention when he was buying the tickets or explaining the how excited he was to see this film. You sat in the theater, munching on your snacks, trying to focus on the movie playing before you. But you couldn't. You mind kept bringing up Bakugou and what Jirou had said.

Was he really just jealous, is that why he was being so mean? But you had a hard time believing it. There was nothing to be jealous over so why would that be the case. You'd become so wrapped up in your own thoughts that you didn't even notice that the movie had ended.

"Hey, earth to Y/N? Are you okay?" Denki was standing in front of you waving his hand in your face.

"Huh? Yeah sorry, guess I just got distracted."

He smiled at you, "It's okay, you ready to head back?"

You nodded in response. He walked beside you as you both made your way back to the dorms. You couldn't help but feel bad, Denki didn't deserve any of this.

Turning to look at him you were going to come clean, "Hey Denki, this night was a lot of fun-" You couldn't say anything else because he cut you off.

"Listen Y/N, I haven't been completely honest. I had fun too, but I like someone else."

"Eh?"

"It wasn't right of me but the only reason I asked you out was to make someone else jealous." Is this guy stupid? "I like Jirou and sometimes I can't tell if she likes me back so I figured I'd see if she would get jealous if I went out with someone else." He looked over at you with a sort of shy smile.

You stopped; your face completely blank. "Are you some kind of idiot?"

"Hey don't be mean!"

You couldn't help but laugh. This situation could not have been funnier to you. Here you were feeling like a terrible person for using Denki and he had done the same thing.

"Look Denki I think you should just talk to her. You'll probably get better results if you just ask her out."

He looked at you hopeful, "You think so?"

You rolled your eyes, "I know so."

The two of you continued to walk and talk as you made it to your dorms floor. You left Denki at Jirou's door, giving him a thumbs up you walked down to your own room. You stood outside of your door, not sure if you were ready to go in. You checked the time, it was a little after 8:30, hopefully he was asleep and wouldn't bug you tonight. You took a deep breath before opening the door. The light from the hall ran into your room. You saw something move and with your heart racing you let out a small scream.
