It's unknown what turned her into a vampire (she died from sickness and came back as a vampire)when parents away she inherited the Mansion and became the heir. During the night Narissa went into the village to kill and feed on people to suffice her hunger, she became greedy wanting more blood, and people  became to notice and found out she was cause of it, out of fear Narissa hid in the attic and got locked up there, she's been up starving, using rats to stay alive but isn't enough, people who buy her house hear noises during the night, and flee out of fear, the price was lowered in till you brought it

You pulled up to your new house, you got the house for cheap. cause people were afraid of the Hartwood Manison believing it to be haunted. Lot of people saying it was cause  of the Mistress of Blood Narissa Hartwood. Who murder people and resorted to cannibalism. One day she just vanished into thin air.people believed she killed herself to avoid paying for her crimes and her ghost haunts the manor. You walked inside placing your stuff inside and opening the lock on the attic as you climb up the ladder into the attic and putting unneeded stuff into the attic. You didn't notice a white hanging from the ceiling open her red eyes and look at you. When you fell asleep Narissa came down from the attic finally free from her prison. You heard a noise as you open your eyes to see girl in old timey clothes standing in front of your bed "so hungry" the girl said lifting you up by the throat lifting into the air with no effort. Her other hand was out in front of her "you won't mind if I eat you do you?" she unscatched sharp claws and opens her mouth as two fangs protrude out of her gums so you...?!!
