I was left dumbfounded. Hearing myself started to wheeze, cough and gasp for air. I'm having asthma attack. Tumulo ang mga luha ko habang paulit-ulit kong naririnig ang sinabi niya. My tears fell and there's no way I can't stop them.

Napaluhod ako habang pinanuod lang na umalis ang sasakyan niya. I can't breathe.

I stood from my feet and started running kahit na hindi ako makahinga. I fell for how many times but the car didn't stop.

Wala na siyang pakialam sa akin...

Hindi niya ako kilala...

I fell once again and I couldn't move anymore.

"O-ozi..."

"Miss, are you okay?" Tanong ng lalaking lumapit sa akin para tulungan ako pero deretso pa rin ang tingin ko sa sasakyan ni Ozi.

"Amira?" Napatingin ako sa lalaking kaharap ko. Hawak ako sa magkabilang balikat.

It was Herwin.

I couldn't help myself but to cry hard. He hugged me, pinapatahan. He's worried, it's obvious in his voice. Hinahanap niya ang inhaler ko pero wala akong dala kundi sarili ko lang. The next thing I knew he brought me to the nearest hospital.

Hindi pa rin ako matigil sa pag-iyak kaya tinurukan na ako ng pampatulog.

When I opened my eyes, nasa ospital pa rin ako at may oxygen mask. Someone's head was resting on the bed I was lying in.

Nang igalaw ko ang kamay ko ay agad din siyang nagising.

It's really Herwin.

"Are you okay?"

Asking me that question made me cry again. I'm hurting.

I shook my head. Lumapit siya sa akin at ikinulong sa mga bisig niya.

It's still vivid what happened just awhile ago. Si Ozi... nag-iba siya. Bakit siya ganon?

"Shhh, you'll be fine..."

"Ang sakit sakit. Why is he pretending that he doesn't know me at all?"

I don't know why I'm telling him this but I have no one with me and it feels like I need someome to hear me. Kahit na itong taong nandito para sa akin ay ang taong nanakit din sa akin ilang taon na ang lumipas.

"Is that why you're here? To talk to him?" I nodded.

"Didn't you know that he's like that?" He asked.

"Like what?"

"I'll tell you when you get to the place you're staying. Saan ka ba nag-estay? Let's just wait for your Doctor. Dito ka lang."

Tumango lang ako at iniwan niya ako.

What's he doing here anyway? And what is he talking about?

Ilang minuto lang ang nakalipas at nasa sasakyan niya na ako, papunta sa hotel na tinutuluyan ko.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit niya ginagawa ito.

"Why are you helping me, by the way?" I asked.

"Because you seemed like you need help."

I sighed.

"I'm fine, but thank you. I appreciated what you did earlier, for not leaving me in the hospital."

"Not until I'm sure you're really okay."

Ngumiti ako ng mapait. After what I've heard I don't think I'll be fine.
