I know, I know, we all hate the rules, but guess what, ya still get them and there are quite a few of them in order for this to run as smooth as possible. Ok? Cool.
RULES
1. First things first, following me, @melanatedmelon simply for updates. (For some gosh damn reason the hyperlinks are not working for me. Just simply go to the description page of the book and click me from there 🤦🏾♀️) I of course would appreciate it if you continued following me even after the end of this, but you are not obligated. I hate that shit.
2. Follow your judge. In the same way, your judge would appreciate your continued follow. They are doing something for you, show your appreciation please.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO BRIBING, CHEATING, OR BULLYING If I even catch the faintest of whiffs that any of these is going on, YA GONE! Need more clarity? YA FIRED! FINITO! FIN! FINISHED! CANCELED! KICKED OUT! No exceptions. Not sorry.
4. Be patient. Like I said, this is my first awards and I am doing this by myself. These things take time and I will try to update as much as I can. HOWEVER, I am an adult with a 10-6 M-F job and will not always be online. Keep that in mind please. Come at me ugly and you'll receive the grinch. 😀
5. Please post this awards on your message board and add it to your library and one of your reading lists. It's so it gets more attention. The more attention, the faster this moves.
6. Your books must be in ENGLISH. That is simply because it is a universal language.
7. Your books have to be under 10k. As well, no more than 6 previous awards won for each book entered (not including honorable mentions). This awards is for the undiscovered. Please respect that.
8. Password 2 is your favorite food. That's right, go find the first password before proceeding.
9. Novels need at least 5 chapters, poetry and short stories need at least 3. If it is a short story with one chapter, at least 2-3k words.
10. A total of 3 books are allowed per person, 1 per genre. Don't be a greedy hoe.
11. Mature and LGBTQ+ are allowed. We inclusive in this bitch.
12. Changes: If any changes to your username or book title, PLEASE LET ME AND YOUR JUDGE KNOW BEFORE THE JUDGING PERIOD ENDS. If not, your book/s will be removed.
