Eleven

I plopped down on my bed as soon as I get home from university. Working on assignments throughout the week surely exhaust me. Our lecturers didn’t give us even time to breathe at all. I didn’t slept properly nor eat well either.
I was so busy that I even forgot that I was alone for the whole week.

Mr Yin travelled to Japan regarding his works and I didn’t even know when he’ll return.

I could feel my eyelids getting heavier as I think of his handsome face.

I hope he returns soon…

I woke up to a sound and suddenly went alert.

The sound came from the kitchen it seems. Who could it be? Is it a thief? What if he took the knife and kill me?

Wait..I don’t remember sleeping with a blanket. Did someone put it on me?
Mr Yin..?

I walked down to the Kitchen trying my best not to make any sounds.

As I was about to walk in the kitchen, someone just walked towards me and I instantly shouted.

‘Kitten calm down, it’s me’
It’s the deep voice I’m very familiar with.

‘It’s you…’

‘Yes It’s me, calm down, take a deep breath, slowly…’

As if magic, I automatically calmed down. With the sight in front of me, I feel like all my energies came back.

‘You scared me!!’ I scolded after a while.

‘I’m sorry. I was just about to wake you up’ He laughed

‘Why are you laughing?’ I glared at him.

‘I’m sorry , you’re just…very cute’

‘hmph No I’m not’

‘Yes you are’

‘No I’m not’

‘Excuse me kitten, have you seen yourself in a mirror? Can anyone possibly be any cuter than you?’

WHAT!? Who are you calling a kitten!!?

‘Stop teasing me’

‘Okay now you must be hungry, let’s eat dinner’ he chuckled lightly

‘eh? You made it? By yourself?’
I asked, surprised.

‘Yes. Well It’s just a simple dish. I don’t actually know how to make others’

‘You should’ve gave me a call. Then I would have prepared everything’

‘ Nah it’s okay. I knew you’d be tired’

‘But the reason I’m here-’

‘yes I know. But you’re also a student. I’m not that harsh honey. It’s okay, really. Now sit down, the food will get cold.’

‘Yes Sir’

After Dinner~  

‘Care to join me for a movie?’
Mr Yin’s voice stopped me as I was walking towards the Living room.

‘A movie? Don’t you have works?’

‘Not really’
He chuckled
‘And I know you don’t have it either..so?’

‘Who said I don’t have it?’

‘Oh do you have it?’

His excited face suddenly fell, and at that moment he really looked like a sad puppy that I wanted to ruffle his hair.

‘No…’

His sudden change of expressions from happy to sad to a confused face is making it hard for me to keep my face still.
And then I lost it when he tilted his head like a puppy.
I burst out laughing.

‘You little..'

I yelped when he suddenly pulled my arms and I fell onto his body.

At that moment, I felt as if the time has stopped for me again. Our faces were only a few inches away and I could feel his minty breath which gives me chills down my spine.

That woke me up.

I hurriedly excused myself from his body.

‘S-so which movie you picked?’

‘Wanna pick?’

‘Nah I can watch anything’

‘anything?’

‘yyess…’

‘Okay…good’

Okay. Saying I can watch anything was my mistake.

Of course he picked horror movie!!!
