1) I still make this very common mistake.
Don't you, when you're writing, want to write anyways, ...
But there actually isn't an s there. It's just "anyway". That's it. Done deal. No "s".
Yet, so many people constantly make this mistake, myself included.
Watch out for this and keep up the great writing!

2) The word "anyways," can be used, but never use it in an essay or any type of formal writing.
It can be used in informal writing, like if you're writing a letter to a close friend, or when you're talking to someone you know well.
When you meet someone for the first time, try not to use the word "anyways."
