clay woke up the next morning, rolling away from gia to go grab his phone that he left in the living room,

he rubbed his eyes as he grabbed his phone,

"what the fuck?" the boy whispered as he saw the thousands of notifications from different people, most of them texts saying check twitter,

he clicked to twitter, the first tweet he sees being the photo of gia, george and nick at the airport, "holy shit."

he ran into their room, "g-" he spoke as she rubbed her shoulder, "gia! something happened."

she sat up, alarmed, before being handed the phone,

she scanned over the tweet what felt like a hundred times, "is this real? are you fucking with me?"

"fucking with you? gia?" clay asked,

"i don't want it to be real." gia spoke, shutting her boyfriends phone off and putting it down on the bed, "what do i do?"

clay sat for a moment, "i don't think there's anything you can do, my love."

she felt a tear fall from her eye, "i didn't want it to happen like this- i didn't want it to happen at all!"

clay pulled her into a hug as she cried, rubbing her back the way he did, "i know. i'm sorry."

he was grateful that he wasn't in the picture, but he was also feeling like complete shit, "i don't like seeing you like this, g." he spoke as he heard a door open, george walking in,

the boy held his head, "what happened? my heads pounding. are you crying?"

gia looked up at george with red eyes, opening up clay's phone again and showing him the tweet, "holy shit, gia. are you okay?"

she shrugged, rubbing her eyes, "i don't know what i'm supposed to do."

nick walked in as well, george showing him the tweet, before sending a quick reply to it,

george shoved his phone in his pocket, both nick and himself feeling rage as they watched their friend cry,

"i think you should own it, gia." nick spoke and both gia and clay looked up at them from the bed,

"what do you mean?" gia asked, and nick shrugged,

"you're obviously pretty, gia. like i said, just own up to it! post something. clap back. i don't know- maybe it's stupid." nick scratched his neck,

"i mean, nick is right, g. you're beautiful-" clay paused, turning to nick, "which she is my girlfriend, by the way, so be careful." the boy joked, "but he's right. you should own it."

gia nodded, not really understanding,

"we are gonna go grab breakfast, you can stay here, shower, feel better, and we'll bring you something home, okay?" clay spoke, standing up,

the girl nodded once more, before clay leaned down and kissed her lips once then her forehead,

the three boys walked out, leaving gia alone. clay knew when she needed time to herself, and he knew right know was that time.

gia sat for a minute, staring at the tweet once more, her face was so visible, it was insane how this was happening right now.

the girl sighed, clicking on instagram, the first post being the picture of her again, she felt another tear drop from her eye as she went to post,

she hesitantly typed out a caption, and clicked post.

"gia" clay spoke as she walked into george's house,

"i'm in here!" gia spoke from the bathroom, "come in!"

she was sitting on the counter brushing her hair,

"you!" he laughed as he pushed the door open, "are amazing!"

he hugged the girl from behind, moving her face to place kisses all over it, "i'm so proud of you! i love you!"

she giggled, turning around, causing clay to feel his heart drop when she didn't respond,

"why do you look scared, dummy? i love you, too!" she laughed and he smiled again, pulling her into a hug,

"also i bought you chocolate chip pancakes and-"

"lemonade?" she asked, smiling at him,

he laughed, "yes, lemonade. come on."
