Your eyes were like the ocean,
I thought I could swim.
At first it was like I didn't need air,
I could dive in with confidence.
Every day I would find a new way to dwelve.
I became stronger and filled with such pride.
That I only I could drift in your eyes.
Us.
The waves were so futile and barely caused harm.
To busy swimming to see what I missed
As time passed I drifted away
Taken by the waves that were once so small
I can no longer enter, I can no longer fall.
Now everything is concrete, and sand and... Time. So much time.
I cant breath anymore even in air.
I cant breath anymore.
