"hey this question has been bothering me for a few days" I said and they both shifted their gaze towards me
"what is it?" Adeline said while looking at me the drops of sweat were shining like glitter on her skin (we are literally anything so why not sweat)** and she was breathing heavily
"oh... are you guys a..... couple?" I said while looking at both of them nervously they shoot each other a disgusted look and pointed at each other "him and I NO WAY IN HELL" Adeline exclaimed and jack was still looking her with a disgusted face my boy was looking traumatized "her? OH HELL NAH" jack said and they both once again shoot each other a disgusted look
"he's such a bitch" Adeline said while looking at jack and jack was still disgusted by my question
"I told you to call me dog I'm not a bitch" jack said and smacked Adeline's arm Adeline kicked him on his ankle and he groaned due to the pain
I was somehow relieved... Even though I don't have a chance with her
"you guys seem really close to each other" I said while looking at both of them "yes, we are best friends" jack said and Adeline nodded "that's a relief" they both looked at me with wide eyes and my stupid mouth spoke before my brain could even properly process what I was saying
"that's a relief that I don't have to practice anymore right?" I said while smiling nervously as I hoped that they won't notice the panic in my voice they both looked at each other "alright that's enough for today" Adeline said and I couldn't be more happy right now I was screaming internally
"go and take a bath we'll meet in the dining hall" Adeline said and placed her sword on the Stand and walked away
"you remember the way to go to your room right?" jack questioned "yes bro my memory is quite good". I said and started to walk away "hey What's b-bro?" he asked while looking curious I looked back and smiled at him
"it's a friendly way to address someone" I said and walked away from there
I took a shower and had lunch with them. But I noticed something weird Adeline she didn't looked quite well her face was pale and she barely ate anything she looked sick
