Adeline's POV

"Oh my back" I heard atlas scream we practiced a little but it seemed like he was going to pass out anytime so we decided to take a break and right now jack,I and atlas are sitting under a tree near the arena
"don't you think it's enough for today" atlas said I looked at him with a disgusted expression
"really" I said and he looked at me curiously
"boy it was like a warmup for me" jack said while looking up at the branches if the tree
"please..." atlas pleaded and I looked at him
"boy listen I don't care if you're tired or whatever, what matter is that I'm preparing you for a war" I said while looking up as well the rays of sun were hitting my face and I immediately looked down

"war...." atlas said and he looked like he don't even fucking know that he have a whole ass kingdom waiting for him to come and save them

"your people are waiting for you we have to hurry up" I said and atlas finally looked like he was finally understanding what I was saying
"oh you're right.....I've people waiting for.....me....their...king?" atlas asked while looking at a random space
"yes so get up and there's not going to be a break until I order" I got up from my place and removed the brushed the dirt off my clothes

atlas and jack also got up from their places and we all marched towards the practice arena
we grabbed our swords jack was teaching atlas how to use a sword and he was learning quite quickly in the meantime I was punching a sandbag
my attention soon shifted toward atlas and jack when I heard atlas groan
atlas was laying on the ground and jack was standing there looking disappointed
I marched towards them
"what happened?" I asked jack looked at me with disappointed expressions
"I can't believe he's a king" jack said while looking at him he was laying completely straight on the ground it seems like he passed out
"he can't even move the sword properly" jack remarked while pointing the tip of his sword toward him
"bring me some water" I said while standing infront of him 'you're like tulip beautiful,elegant and sensitive but I'll make you like a nerium oleander you'll still be beautiful and elegant but devilish and murderous' I thought to myself while looking at him
"your majesty" one of the guard came and handed me a bowl filled with water I poured the water on him and he flinched at the sudden contact with cold water he opened his eyes and shouted
"what the actual fuck"  he said and stood up his hairs were drenched in water and some of the  strings were covering his face not to mention he looked quite hot
"you're going to practice until you're drenched in your sweat" I said while looking at him and he glared at me with fire in his eyes
"hey don't look at her that way..... she can take out your eyeballs with her hands" jack said and I and atlas turned to look at him
"start practicing" I ordered and everyone started to practice once again and the noise of swords colliding filled the practice arena

"I won again" I said and the man who was fighting with me bowed to me
"it was really fun fighting with you I really tried my best. congratulations,on your win" he said and stood up
"yes you're actually quite good" I said while he was breathing heavily
"thanks to you, his majesty" he replied and I walked away from there
I looked at atlas and jack. atlas kept falling but got up eventually I looked at jack. I marched towards them I took the sword from Atlas's hand
"sit over there drink some water and watch my moves" I said and atlas nodded quickly

"it's been a long time,Adeline."  jack said in a mocking tone and a smirk appeared on my lips he is the only person which looks like an actual fighter in front of me
"it'll be fun" I said and moved the sword in my hands skillfully he looked at me and pointed the tip of his sword toward me
"you ready?" I asked "always" he replied

I moved the sword in my hands and in just the blink of an eye we were fighting like our life depend on it he tried to use one of his old tricks but I know him better than anyone else
I dodged it skillfully I heard clapping voice from behind and I knew it was atlas 'at least he's paying attention' I thought to myself

I moved my sword and feet in the same direction but as soon as my sword was about to hit his I bend down and moved my sword in the other direction it made him confused he tried to dodge it but he had no time to process what I just did my sword collided with his and the force was enough to make his sword fall down

"learned some new tricks" he said as he picked his sword from the ground and walked towards me
"yes, it feels good my past self must be proud of me that you lost to me" I said proudly as I walked towards atlas he was looking at us

"hey this question has been bothering me for a few days" atlas said while looking at both of us
