Lexie walked down the hallway with Iain. She looked to her scan photo and smiled as he had an arm around her and smiled

"I told you it was a girl" he said as she looked to him and rolled her eyes

"shut up you show off" know it all" Lexie said as she hit him in the side. He looked to her bd chuckled

"you know that she is going to be perfect, she is going to be just like her mum" Iain said as Lexie turned to face him and smiled

"let's hope she doesn't have my temper or yours actually" Lexie said as Iain chuckled. He grabbed Lexie by the waist and pulled her close and kissed her

"it's all going to be Okay our baby is healthy and we need to start thinking over names now" Iain said as they walked down towards the Ed and into the staffroom.

Lexie looked to him and smiled "I know look maybe you could come around later, we could get food and discuss it" Lexie said as iain looked to her and smiled

"it sounds perfect" he said as he pulled her close and kissed her passionately. Esmè walked into the room and looked to them and smirked

"don't make me sick it's still early" she said as Lexie looked to her and rolled her eyes

Lexie stood in the Ed and looked as Sam walked over to her

"what do you want?" She asked

"don't give me the cold shoulder Lexie I am your father and I wanted to see how you are" he said as Lexie looked to him

"I'm pregnant and I'm angry at you. You got esme pregnant and you turned your back on her and the baby. That way is your responsibility and you need to stop being just a coward over it all" Lexie said

"I'm not a coward" he said as she rolled her eyes

"really as I haven't seen you turn your back on any of your other kids. I was pissed over you and Lexie but I am even more pissed over how you are treating her. She had no one and you need to do the right thing and be there for her and I don't need the stress of it. I need to watch my blood pressure to start with just sort it out so the right thing dad" Lexie said as she grabbed the patient file that she was reading from and walked off.

Lexie was annoyed with Sam but she knew that she couldn't let it get to her not when she needed to think over herself and her baby

she knew that she couldn't get involved anymore not when it was starting to risk her Heath

Lexie sat in bed with Iain that night as they lay watching tv. She placed a hand on her stomach and smiled as she felt the baby kick

"Iain, feel this" Lexie said as she grabbed his hand, he looked to her and grinned as the baby kicked away

"that's my girl" Iain said as Lexie looked to him and smiled

"let's hope that she isn't a pain like you" Lexie said as he looked to her and rolled his eyes

"you love me" Iain said as he leant in and kissed her.

Lexie placed a hand on his cheek and kissed him back and smiled.

Lexie knew she wanted to make her relationship work but she had no idea how it was going to be tested
