Lexie stood in front of the mirror and grabbed as she stood getting ready for work. She felt to fat and pregnant by all of this and she hated it

Lexie looked as Iain walked into the room and frowned as he looked to her "what are you doing" he asked as she looked to him and rolled her eyes

"Singing Oprah what does it look like I'm trying to put my socks on but I'm too fat" she said as he looked to her and smirked

"Well aren't you being extra bitchy today" he said as he took the socks from her and slipped them in and smiled as he looked to her and smiled

"Sorry it's the hormones" she said as he smiled. He helped her to her feet and smiled as he leant in and kissed her and smiled

"It's okay. I get it. Look you are not far and pregnant you are pregnant and this is our baby. Our little Maddie and it's all going to be okay I promise" he said as she looked to him and smiled

She knew how she was sick and tired and how she only had a few weeks left at work before she gave birth but she did want to make it work.

She did want it to be okay and to work out and it wasn't easy. Lexie knew that she just wanted to have this baby as she felt as if she had been pregnant forever

"It is going to be okay. I'm here" he said as she smiled

She rested her head onto his chest and smiled as he wrapped an arm around him and leant in and kissed her

"I guess. I just want everything to be okay" she said as he smiled

"It will be"

Lexie got to work and stood in the staffroom and smiled as she saw Esme "you look tired" Esme said

"It's the pregnancy. You know the feeling. I just want her out. I know I have another six weeks but I am just sick of it all you know" Lexie said as Esme nodded

"I get it. I know it hasn't been easy but it will be okay. It will work out. You don't need to worry. You are going to have this baby soon and you will wish that she is back inside of you" Esme said as she smiled

"I know I am sick of being uncomfortable" Lexie said as Esme smiled. She knew that it wasn't easy but she knew that all of it was going to be easy but she wanted to make it work out

Lexie rested a hand on her bump and smiled. She knew that as soon as she had her baby how everything was going to change and she wanted to be prepared for it

Lexie walked into the ambulance bay and smiled as she saw Iain

"Hey. You doing okay" he asked as she nodded

"I guess so. My head is just a mess" she said as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled as he leant in and kissed her and smiled

"I know it's hard but it is going to be okay i promise" he said as she smiled hoping that he was right
