Sherlock: As a gag gift you got him a magnifying glass and while giving it you said that he sometimes misses details and this would help him, and for real you got him a new violin case because he smashed the old one on a mans head.
John: As a gag gift you got him ear plugs so he could use them while Sherlock got bored and used his gun on the wall, and for real you got him a new computer for his blog since Sherlock took the other one and accidentally poured water all over it.
Jim: As a gag gift you got him an apron that says World's nicest person because you thought it was corny and it was ironic, and for real you got him the latest trending weapons on the black market since he kept braking them when he got frustrated that his "game" with Sherlock wasn't working out.
