At the same day when the army from different nation's, races, kingdoms are marching down towards the battlefield up north in the Demon Continent, Nicholas the rank 1 of the order in the royal knight division was wondering through the plain field together with one other person

Since it was expected to be something big, one could just imagine what would happen in the war where killing is free for all

Currently Nicholas was walking down a hill as he somehow blindly follows the trace of mana that were a residue in the air

One particular reason for this was this Mana was so identical to the Mana from the dead person called Jack, even though it's slight Nicholas who was sensitive to Mana still managed to differentiate it

With that curiosity he followed the trace of the Mana while having one other person follow him all the way to the edge of Ingra Kingdom

"What are we doing here anyway Nicholas?" Asked Kelvin who was the youngest among the Royal knights

"Just follow me quietly, that would really help.simce you had kept asking me the same question for about 30 times already in a single day... It's pretty annoying you know..." Grumbled Nicholas as he straightened his position

Apparently Kelvin was coronated as a royal Knight at the age of six, thus he was called a genius by his peer

With his quick witted thinking and reaction, he was most the formidable among the 12 royal knights for he only follows what his instincts told him to do

With it his battle skills, movements, and etc. were very hard to predict even for a master swordsman

"You know since we can't participate in the war... Yet!!!... I'm quiet jealous of the guys below rank 6 to join them on such expedition" mumbled Kelvin

Unfortunately Nicholas clearly heard what he said as he immediately commented

"We will get our chance, we just need to wish that the enemy would be strong enough to force the hand of the church"

"I hope so..."

"Better yet why don't you just shut it, quietness is a virtue for me though" said Nicholas

But unfortunately Kelvin wasn't the one to listen to anybody

"Tell me how confident are you in fighting a demon head on" asked Kelvin

"Me? I think I'm strong enough, being 1st rank isn't just a number you know" replied Nicholas

"What a high self-esteem" he mumbled

As he continues to mumble, Nicholas soon continued his walking until he reached the forest who gave him such ominous feeling, of course this feeling instantly reached kelvin as he got up and pulled his sword with a smile if his face

"This forest is weird... Shall I cut it off?" Asks Kelvin

"Why would you? Don't! We're not here to cause a scene, plus were not going inside... Yet since I'm pretty sure that we will get overwhelmed" stated Nicholas
