Chapter 231: Fourth Child of Calamity

[Shibuya, Yoyogi, Japan]

Staring out unto the open skies, Kaido who seemed to be in grey distraught was currently standing among the piled up crowds in one of the events in Shibuya, Yoyogi

(Where am I?)

As his thoughts ask himself that question, the body instead proceeded to look towards the direction of the whole crowds

When he did what he saw was an apartment building that was on fire, for some reason the firefighters were having a hard time extinguishing the fire and there was a woman who seemed to be begging the firefighters to save her family

(What is this place? Where's everyone? Who are these people?)

At this question the he in turn looked towards the raging fire that cause his whole body to quiver in fear

(Why does looking at that fire seemed to affect me? Is my body shaking? Am I... . . Afraid?)

As soon as he realized this Kaido for some reason steeled his nerves as he bawled his fist and actively walked out of the crowd

Standing infront of the fire, he held his hand out and slowly controlled the fire as it's essence the flames started rampaging around and rushing towards the palm of his hands

Of course this action caused everyone to stare at him dumbfounded, but at the same time couldn't move at all

As soon as the tiny bits of fire headed towards kaido, the person himself who was now holding a red plasma with the full essence of fire attribute, slowly begun crushing it as he close his palm

Soon after that his heart begun to palpitate due to some reasons unknown as if he himself was afraid of something

But more than minute has passed and not one critism could be heard from the crowds nor any words from the firefighters

Soon after the family of the woman was retrieved, the first one who moved was the woman herself and immediately thanked him with all het heart which was followed by the rest of the family thus showing gratitude, with that the crowd begun cheering up for him as they were apparently amazed by his feat and we're actually singing praises of him

Seeing this made Kaido's heart and consciousness quiver for some reason, he couldn't understand what was even happening but he knows or more like his body and consciousness knows that this song of praises and gratitude that was directed at him even thought it's what he wanted, shouldn't happen at all

His body stood still in shock as he got surrounded by people in different shape and sizes with their eyes full of amazement, some were taking pictures, some where asking for his new and number, while some wanted to see his ability even more

Being surrounded by the people who liked Espers was like a paradise for both him and the other people

(This... This isn't so bad after all... . .)

Curious about this sudden new feeling that he was feeling, followed by the sudden interest of this different world that he was completely clueless about, made Kaido feel nostalgia from some reason

After that news about him spread out towards the media and was even put up into every news channel live due to his heroic feat

Soon after he begun to be the talk of the Town, as if he was a celebrity and all

When he goes to school, he noticed that the students that he normally ignored begun to talk to him especially the people who grew curious of Espers

At that his popularity suddenly shot up to the top as one of the famous people in the school, he even for some reason got himself qualified for the most handsome boy in school ranking at the third place
