Chapter 287: War Of Nations XII

[Demon Continent, Demon king's Castle]

Charging up towards Larval, Melfina herself took the lead of the charge as she splits herself into ten clones and started attacking him simultaneously

"Bunshi!"

With some clones holding daggers, while others holding short swords, and some holding knives, series of attacks came as all over Larval, thus forcing him to take on the defensive lines

"Insects! Do you think you can win?"

Tapping the butt of his staff unto the ground Larval casted multiple spell towards Melfina all at once

"Ground shaker!"

"Death swamp!"

"Hell flames!"

Due to that some of the spells successfully destroyed Melfina's clones as some got disintegrated, but on the other hand due to this Larval's full attention and focus was directed to Melfina, causing him to lose sight that there was another person who was attacking with her

Jumping up from Larval's blindspot Sarah dashed forward as she slashed her sword directly towards Larval

Of course due to the sudden shift of killing intent, Larval managed to notice Sarah's presence as he directly raise his staff to block the initial attack while erecting up a barrier to protect himself from Melfina's assault

With their attacks failed, Melfina took a huge leap backwards as she crouched down and inputted more force and power unto her hips, causing some of its muscles to strain so much that one can notice just how much power was Melfina putting on it

With a boom the ground got lifted as Melfina made a destructive dash and started casting spells along the way

"Shadow blade!"

Using such technique Melfina was able to ignore any kind of obstruction as it easily bypassed Larval's defenses, causing the latter to react to it and teleport out of her range for safety

But of course Melfina didn't gave up as she took out three knives covered by her own shadow Mana and threw them at the direction to where Larval has escaped too

Of course occasionally Sarah helped her as she relentlessly tried to shift Larval's attention towards her by actually attacking him

Swinging her sword repeatedly towards him, Larval started speed casting his spells to defend himself when suddenly a streak of knives covered with murderous Mana suddenly by passed him and cancelling his incantation

While the other two knives actually split direction of one went above him, while the other actually struck him on his legs

Gritting in frustration Larval took out the knife from his body when suddenly a sword coming from sarah struck him across his front while Melfina suddenly appeared next to him and struck him from behind

Of course due to larval being an undead such a thing was meaningless to him since he doesn't feel pain at a when being struck by attacks

Soon the skeleton face of his suddenly seemed to smile as it said

"Oh! How you must have wished that I have flesh and organs right? Too bad for you I'm an undead... I can't be killed that easily"

With the concentration of Mana unto his body larval actually managed to push back both Melfina and Sarah back once more as he raised his staff and said to them

"Oh you've better wish to dead right now, rather than being alive!"

With a tap larval begun casting a spell so peculiar that he directed it's all force toward Melfina and Sarah
