Chapter 237: Destruction Of The Empire II

Given a 10 minute headstart, Duke Agra immediately ordered for the whole remaining soldiers and knights of empire to come and protect his majesty

He even included the castle's own staff such as chefs, butlers, maid, and etc. And ordered them to protect his majesty at all cost

As also one of the guys serving under the King Emperor himself, Duke Agra has a responsibility to protect him too

Soon after all of the knights of the kingdom gathered in the castle non-stop and was designated in different areas all to hinder whatever enemy may come at them

During this King Emperor Ergo gave them one special mission, that is to kill the four perpetrators that dares to attack the king

Of course he also ordered for the presence of the Empire's Adventurers and receives a reply that a huge crowd was being sent to them as aid

Most of all Duke Agra even thought of escaping completely out of the Empire's walls, but when he planned for it, for some reason he just couldn't find the exit

After checking for awhile as he roams, he realized that Kaido must have done something and deducted that he wouldn't let them escape the castle walls

Some even thought of destroying it using magic, but to no avail the walls never seemed damaged even though it got rained down by magic

With all of this happening, Duke Agra steeled his resolve as gripped his sword and went infront of the King Emperor

At that exact moment a just at the right time that the 10 minutes finished counting down, a figure suddenly flew off from the balcony and dived down towards the seemingly entrance of the castle

Following that they in turn heard explosions coming from the castle as both Aileene and Fengris goes and hunts them

With a flap of his dragonic wings Argos softly landed unto the ground and blocked the entrance gate of the Empire

Putting both of his hands on his waist and standing imposingly like that, Argos begun examining all of the presence that were nearing the castle

Soon after he could feel presence of a huge crowd gathering up not far from him

At the same time the Adventurers immediately went over to the castle and was met by Argos who was seemingly blocking them

"Oi! Move aside! Don't you know that the Empire's being attacked?"

"I know..." Answered Argos

"Then don't block us!"

"Can't do that" he replied

"Huh? What are you up to? Who are you anyway? State your name!"

"You can just call me Argos, as for the other question, then I can't move away from this place cause I was assigned not to let anyone escape nor enter... . . And that included you" stated Argos

As soon as he said that some of the Adventurers became bewildered by his answer while others were confused

Sooner than later a huge bulk adventurer came forward and walked towards Argos

As he came closer he easily surpassed Argos by the height they both have

For his bulky body composition, he somehow towered above Argos, that the latter himself was only at the same height as his chest

"Move"

"No can do"

"I said move"
