As soon as they took the picture I wiped the smile off of my face and started fanning myself. I was too hot right now and I wanted to strip from these clothes. Why did I have to wear so much black?
"I need an air conditioner" I complained while I grabbed my slides from Benji, threw them on the ground and he helped me take my heels off so I could put the slides on
"Yeah you starting to sweat" ma used her thumb to wipe my forehead and started fanning me
"You really bout to sit there and fan that grown woman?" Shy asked ma and she nodded
"If my baby's hot then yeah"
"Truth be told, she ain't even worried about me. She just don't want me to overheat and something happen to the baby" I told shy and ma nodded
"Well yeah. That too"
I looked around "where London went? She was just here"
"I'm right here looking through these pictures" she told me as I saw she was standing on the other side of MJ
"Whatever picture you post make sure ion look fat in it"
"But you-" Meechie started until he saw how I looked at him

"I wish we could get you LIT for yo graduation" Bri said as she pushed shy's arm from across her shoulder. She was still mad at him about whatever they were arguing over yesterday
"I mean I can get lit, I just can't... get LIT lit" I told her while I took my graduation robe off and gave it to Benji as his phone ring "who calling you?"
"Hold on" he told me while answering the phone and walked off putting it to his ear. I let out a sigh and walked up to my mom, laying my head on her
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I'm just sick of being pregnant already. It's too hot for this"
"You got only 3 more months. You'll be alright...but I know that ain't your issue" she whispered "you sent him an invitation and he didn't show up?"
Again, I sighed and nodded while looking away from her cause I really didn't wanna cry but I couldn't help it. She reached in her bag and grabbed a tissue from the mini pack she alway carried and started to wipe my face
"Im tired.."
"You'll be alright. If he missed out that's on him but don't let that get to you. No matter what type of college or any of that, YOU took the initiative on your own to go and get a degree. You just graduated, you start a good paying job Monday and after that you gotta son to prepare for. That's ALL you need to focus on at this point, you're doing GEAT Kay."
