Never have I ever ( Isabella)

I was actually able to get some good night's rest. Phineas's steady breathing lulled me to sleep. It calmed me to know he was right there. That I wasn't alone. I realised just how safe I felt here, with him. My eyes snapped open. It appeared to be morning, but with the storm you could not be sure. A quick glance at the clock on the wall assured me my prediction was correct. My mind went back to the thoughts Id had while asleep. How safe I felt with Phin-

" No." I exclaimed sitting up suddenly

" No what?" A deeper voice said from behind me. I jumped, whirling around seeing Phineas in the kitchen making breakfast.

" Umm nothing." I said my cheeks heating slightly.

" Cool, want some eggs?" He asked. I nodded and crawled out of my blanket, finger combing my hair as I walked. I sat down and gratefully ate the plate Phineas offered.

" Wow. This is actually pretty good!" I said  he laughed.

" Geez, don't sound so surprised." He exclaimed. I shrugged

" Sorry" I said giggling he shook his head.

" Girls. Anyway, wanna play another game?"

What game?" I asked curiously.

" It's an app I have on my phone called never have I ever. You pushed the big button in the middle and it gives you a question in the format of never have I ever.... Blank. If you've done it you press the green button on your side of the phone and it gives you a mark. The less marks you have the better." He explained.

" Sounds like fun. Let's go." I said. The game was ridiculously awesome. The questions were either ridiculous or hilariously uncomfortable. I quickly found myself laughing myself silly with Phineas, slipping back into my old habits. Every now and then a little sense if warning came in from the back of my mind saying things like

" Don't do it.... He'll only break your heart... He did it once why not again." I glanced at the laughing man in front of me. And promptly ignored the voices. The game got interesting about an hour later when Phineas took his turn

" Never have I ever..." He began waiting for the button to stop. When it did he raised an eyebrow

" Kissed a guy. Nope, can't say that I have." He said. I pushed my side of the phone. Phineas looked at me in Surprise.

" Umm details?" He asked curiously

" Nothing worth telling." I said sadly. I could tell he didn't believe me but he let the matter drop. I smiled at him. He smiled back my heart sped up and I had to look away.

" Stop it! " My voice said. " You are over him"  I quickly broke eye contact by pushing the button, hoping for a distraction.

" Never have I ever..." I began, my eyes firmly fixed on the button. When it stopped I groaned.

" Had my heart broken? Really who puts that in there?" I said more than little annoyed. Phineas shrugged and pushed his side of the phone I looked at him curiously while following suit. He raised an eyebrow. But didn't say anything. So I did

" You? What? Why would...? When?" I said slightly in shock. He shrugged.

" If I tell you do." He said simply. I stared at him. Did I want to share my pain, my heartbreak. I'd never told anyone about it. Not even my mom. It would feel nice to get it off my chest. And I was dying to know Phineas's. So I found myself nodding stupidly

" Alright." He gave me a surprised look, like he couldn't believe is agreed to share, but he quickly shook it off.

" Well there's not much to tell. You know Charlotte? The girl from graduation?" He asked. I felt my jaw tense.

" Yeah I do." He nodded and continued, occasionally running his hand through his fiery hair

" Well after she kissed me on graduation day, we go together. I was so new to romance I didn't see it coming. She was only using me to get higher on the social ladder. She cheated on me with some jock about a month later." He looked down before continuing.

" Charlotte left me so hurt and  confused, and the other girl I liked she lef- was with someone else." He scratched his ear. A sure sign he was lying. I didn't press him, this was obviously hard for him.

"So yeah. The girl I liked cheated on me and the girl I came to love, f-fell for someone else." He looked so downcast. I tentatively reached over and covered his hand in mine.

" I'm so sorry Phineas." He stared at my hand on his.

" It's alright, but double heart break sucks, wouldn't recommend it." I smiled slightly. He adjusted his hand so he could squeeze mine lightly.

" Anyway, your turn." He said. My smile dropped instantly. And my body tensed.

" Uh can we sit on the couch for this one?" I said stalling. Phineas immediately got up and moved to the living room. I sat down facing him.

" Look don't tell anyone else about this ok? I haven't even told my mom this story." He looked very surprised but nodded. I took a deep breath and spilled the whole story.
