Flying from London to Los Angeles with two connecting flights, a six-year-old and a newborn is not the coolest thing to do. Landon was perfect. He got fussy once when he was hungry and the other times, he just chilled and slept. Haley was the wild one, always wanting to be in Landon's face, wanting to do this, to do that, run around.

By the time we got to our house, I think all four of us were passed out.

Landon stayed in the hospital three extra days and I stayed with him. The guys did their last show in London on the 15th and Nick posted a picture up on the screen for everybody to see. I had to miss the last show on the tour, but I had a good excuse.

After they let me out of the hospital, we had to stay a few extra days before he was able to fly home with us, so we chilled out in the hotel and just got used to having him around.

And it's been 11 days since he was born and I can already see him changing. And he really does look like Nick. His head is shaped like Nick's and his nose and his mouth. I'm pretty sure his eyes are going to stay hazel, but Nick swore on the plane they looked as if they were turning blue.

And today, I'm doing online shopping for boy baby clothes because... Landon can't wear dresses. I had a few gender friendly onsies to wear, but other than that, he has nothing. Emmileigh and Donnie had dropped off a few of Logan's old things for us to use before we got back home.

I have him laying on a pallet on the bed as I sat there on my laptop, looking at baby sites.

He's the most calm and care-free baby I have ever seen. He reminds me of a surfer who's all "cool dude," and just chills. Maybe he gets that from Nick? God knows I'm not calm. I'm always uptight.

"Mama, there's someone at the door talking to Daddy," Haley said, walking into the room. "I don't know who it is."

"What do they look like?"

"A man with yellow hair like Daddy."

"Okay," I said as I picked Landon up and crawled out of bed. I headed out of the bedroom with Haley trailing behind me and down the stairs slowly.

"I don't know if that's a good idea."

"Why not? I'm clean, I swear..."

"And I'm not stupid..."

"Nick, who is it?" I asked as Nick looked over at me, rolling his eyes. He pushed the door open further and there stood his brother, Aaron, staring back at me. "Oh, hey," I said, not sure what to say. What do you say to your husband's brother who the only time you've met him was as a fan when he was a 10-year-old pop star?

"You're Karsyn?" he asked as I nodded as he walked over, reaching out to shake my hand. I shook it back and looked at Nick who looked a little torn. "Is that him? What's his name?"

"Landon," Nick muttered.

"He looks like us," Aaron said as he looked at me. "Can I hold him?"

"Aaron, I don't think that's a good idea," Nick said as Aaron looked at him. "Why did you even come here?"

"Because I read online that she, Karsyn, your wife who I'd yet to meet, had your baby, my nephew and I wanted to see him," Aaron said as Nick stared at him. "I wasn't invited to the wedding or anything. I had to find out online you got married."

"Yeah, well, I wasn't invited to the funeral, was I? Wasn't even told when it was," Nick shot back as Aaron looked away. "You saw him, you met Karsyn, now leave." I looked down at Landon and sighed.

"It was nice meeting you," Aaron said as he gave Haley a little wave and walked out the door.

"Bye," Nick hissed, shutting the door and locking it before looking at me. "Never let him hold our son."

"He didn't seem like he was high or..."

"I said never," Nick said, looking out the front windows to see that Aaron had left. "Don't even know how he got this address."

"Daddy, was that your brother you told me about?" Haley asked as NIck nodded, picking up the color samples from the floor that I guess he had dropped when he saw that it was Aaron outside.

"This is the color you want for the nursery?" he asked as I nodded and he smiled. "I'll head to the store and get it and come back and repaint. Come on Hals, you can come with me."

"Okay," Haley said, slipping on her shoes that were by the front door and I watched her walk out with Nick.

That's what the real problem with his family was about - his sister's death.
