"Ammi, what are we doing for the new years eve?" I asked ammi 

"Nothing dear why?" she asked 

"Oh i was thinking that we could go to the new years par-" I said but ammi cut me off

"We need to be at the park!" she said grinning

"Uh huh and then?" I asked her

we were having breakfast. it was a day after christmas and things were going great. although Hasti was acting really weird. Like real weird. 

"So we are going to e there?" i asked her and she grinned. 

"Awessommee!" screamed Zaki cheerfully

"Okay and Zaki,-" I said gaining everyones attention. 

"Yes bhai?" he asked 

"What do you want as your new years gift?" I asked him 

he stared at me and went into deep thought. 

"While he is thinking, Hasti you also think- what do you want?" I asked Hasti. 

She shook her head. She has not been talking to me normally since the incident at the orphanage. 

"No really, what do you want?" I asked her

"Nothing i am fine"she said 

"Dear, tell him nah," said ammi 

"Nai, ammi, I am fine" replied Hasti 

I stared at her. 

What was wrong? 

"I know what i want!" said Zaki. 

"what?" I asked him 

"our iphone! and its cases!" said Zaki

"What?!" I asked him in disbelief

"Yeah!" he said happily

"Out of all the things Zaki, you want my iphone 6 and its cases!?" I asked him in disbelief

"Well yeah!" he said 

"I was hoping for something like a car- or ipad or PS4 or something-" I said and he grinned

"I don't need a car, i have you, i have an ipad and PS4 with games and i want that iphone!" he replied

"How about i buy you a new one?" I asked him

"NOOOOO!!! I want yours!" he protested

"Fine! take it!" I said and he grinned. 

'Love you bhai!!" he said and i gave him my famous grin. 

Now what to get Hasti? I had bought ammi her gift, a new phone as she broke her old one. It was an xperia. so yeah.... 

Hasti? 

"Ammi i am in my room, need anything, just call me" I said and headed to my room. 

it was only 5 days to new year and i had no idea on what to get Hasti... plus i had to plan the new years party at the office. that was hard work!

I took out allt he papers and jogged to Zaki's room. I needed his help. He is creative.. i hope.

I stopped at the door to knock when I heard voices. 

"Zakkkiii, you don't get it!" that was Hasti

"I do and trust me he does too!" that was Zaki

"I don't know- its weird, all the stupid feelign and all!" she said
